Good service, has the main lounge and two terraces, one facing the street, and one in the back (smoking area). Fair wine list, with good prices for some of them (We orderd Ramon Bilbao and paid aprox. $20.00 USD) The esmedregal mediterraneo (sort of a jack fish) was very good, the ribeye tacos with cheese good, the croquettes just ok,... Great appetizers like the tuna tostada, excellent main dishes and leave space for their chocolate ganache which is a semi-frozen dessert with sour cream and chili sparkles... an amazing combination!

Lampuga is well known for its great seafood and especially great fish dishes. I still love the tuna tostadas and they have a Mediterranean Escolar which is excellent, served on a bed of mashed potatoes and a butter based sauce, delicious! The service is good and the ambience is quite nice with a very pleasant terrace on the street side... More

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the menu proposes an evening feast. However, all is not what it seams, the food was barely ok, the service excellent. The best thing was my date!! Fresh and refreshing

Everything was just ok. We had a ceviche "Lampuga" and it was not what I expect from a ceviche, then for an entree we had the special fish that was a dorado, and it was just ok. It has a nice ambiance and the terrace at lunch time is nice.

Stumbled across Lampuga looking for a new restaurant in Polanco to try. Very glad I did; my seafood tostadas and particularly marlin carpaccio were excellent. Already looking forward to going back.

We popped in on a Friday night at 8pm and were surprised but delighted to be shown a table right away. The tables outside were heated and tented for smokers and looked like a popular place to be as couples poured in for the next hour or more. We sat inside in a warm, brightly lit comfortable room with popular music... More

Lampuga has been able to manage its expansion nicely. The original restaurant in the Condesa area is quite excellent and this new one in Polanco has been able to maintain the high standard. Food is very good and the atmosphere is nice, especially in the terrace area. The tuna tostada is great and the fish of the day is usually... More

Great option to unwind after away at work. Flexible menu, outstanding quality, great wine list. Clam chowder and entrecôte are perfect for this cold weather, take your time to choose the wine. Enjoy!
