This place has cheap and delicious tacos. Quick service. Good for a quick bite. There is always a line but the line moves quick. Would definitely recommend it while in Mexico City.

It's one of the best I 've ever tasted. They are not so good as the ones from Guanajuato, however they are good enough due to the guacamole and the cabagge they give

Canasta tacos are tacos all of a similar fill (chicken, pork, black bean, whatever) all stacked in a basket so all of their grease/juice/flavor drain all over each other. They are dirty good. The way it works is you tell the guy at the front...of the line how many tacos you want, and if you want a drink. Then you pay and he gives you chips, which you then hand off along the way as you pick your tacos and drink at the end. You then take the plate to anywhere you can get a seat and then add on your salsas/guac/whatever topping. Catch off regular meal hours if possible, normal meal times it is slammed, but make sure you hit this spot.More

Great tacos for a quick meal. They are cheap but good. Not fancy at all. Beware bad reviews from whiny people that want to only experience things as they would at home. If you are prissy stay away.

After hearing so many food vloggers recommend this spot we decided to try it out. It was conveniently located near our hotel and when we arrived there was a lineup out the door. We purchased the 5 taco and drink special for 50 pesos. We...had the chicharon in adobe and the verde. We also tried a refrijole. Overall not bad. It’s not something I would go out of my way to eat again but it’s worth trying once.More

I just cannot understand why this would be rated 4.5 stars. We went there because it was rated that high and this was one of the worst food i ever had. The only reason i can see peoples are raving about this place is the...extremely low prices but you can get great tacos everywhere in Mexico at that price. You get in there and don't know exactly what tacos you can buy, you pay then a guy takes out tacos that are all piled up in a bucket and literally throws them in your plate. The tacos are all wet and torn appart and they just don't taste good at all. I had the best food week of my life while in Mexico but this place was just disgusting.More

50 pesos for five tacos and a drink. You don’t even need to speak Spanish. Say, “cinco tacos” and point at the sign, give your pesos, and you get two tokens, a red and a blue one. Red gives you five quickly plated tacos, blue...a soft drink of your choice. There is a guac and lettuce station near the seats, and I was through the line within 5 minutes. Definitely stop by. It’s filling and delicious, and an amazing deal.More

Delicious tacos in the historic center. Cheap, no frills eating, all about the flavour. We tried all 4 choices of taco fillings, our favorite was the chicharron en adobo, with their delicious salsa of course. This place is popular and small so you might see...a big line up outside, but it moves quickly.More
