Wonderful and cozy fondita in Escandón, serving breakfasts and delicious menu of the day options! The quality and tastes are much better and "updated" than the ordinary fondas and so it's totally worth paying slightly more (starting at 70 pesos for 3 to 4 course...menu) for this higher level of cooking. Service is excellent and friendly. Highly recommended! :)More

Esquinika would be equally at home in a hip NYC neighborhood with its cozy and quirky decor. Brekfast comes with a generous side of fresh fruit, bread, juice and spreads. I had an omlette, they were nice enough to substitute tomato for ham without a...fuss and the serving was a generous portion. My latte was excellent and required no doctoring with sugar. I just loved this place, id be by often if i were a local.More

We used to leave just a block away. I miss this locale so much. They serve the best breakfast in Mexico City, without a doubt. And they are the kindest group of food artists you will ever meet. They always took such good care of...us, especially with our daughter in tow. Service, kindness, quality of food -- all are first-class. Keep it sacred, folks. This place is an absolute gem.More

Just across the street from my home. I have found the breakfast to be as good as any i have enjoyed over the years. All the goodies in a unique sitting with the best of attention to details and very attentive to the customers. Closes...early in the day, usually by 6 pm. They do prepare a mid day meal which varies daily. All items are fresh daily and the bread is excellent.More
