Outstanding table service and staff. Wonderful place sat peacefully amongst bamboo. I had the special chicken in a mustard sauce which was excellent. A small and great dessert was offered. In all honestly I have tasted food equal to this in Michelin star restaurants. Would...highly recommend.More

We enjoyed a great meal here the other night. The restaurant has a great vibe, even despite the cat meowing somewhere around the roof. The cocktails were super interesting, but the real star of the show was the pappas con tocino...bacon wrapped french fries. Initially...I was a little uncomfortable going to another mexican restaurant after eating tacos for three days. It turns out, they have all kinds of different dishes- most of which were distinctly Mexican. We enjoyed ceviche which was fresh and delicious. We each had a different taco of the day. Mine was shrimp which was also good- and I only had one- which was a good way to start. We enjoyed the ricotta filled raviolis as well as the Vietnamese dumplings which are conveniently served with Chopsticks. All-in-all, a really fun and well prepared meal. The vibe and the service was all great. Highly recommend.More

Beautiful surroundings, great service, delicious fresh and tastey food with a Mexican Asian twist and a must visit. We went on a Saturday night and we had booked but they were taking walk ins too. The service was really friendly and helpful. I had the...fresh tuna and avocado tacos with the beetroot and goats cheese salad which was so good. My husband had the dumplings and the pork with tortillas. The room/area is spectacular how they’ve done it and they’ve got a healthy bar too.More

This will stop number five on our Roma neighborhood food tour. Look out for the sauces that were served with our meals, mucho caliente. We had a salad with diced cactus that was quite good and an unusual Mexican red wine that we enjoyed.

In short—they take your reservation but don’t honor it (and look at other reviews, i am not the first one). I would avoid this restaurant. We had booked a late sunday brunch with friends more than a week in advance. The afternoon of our booking,...the restaurant called us to say that they close at the time of our reservation. Needless to say, at that time most restaurants in the area were full. A good restaurant doesn’t do this, they could have told us sooner so we had time to book something else. Moreover, it doesn’t seem correct to have tables “available” online at a time the restaurant is closed.More

This fabulous courtyard restaurant was part of our Roma District food tour earlier in the week, and we were so impressed with the location, sampler food and wine that we decided to return for a full blown evening meal. We weren’t disappointed. Tuna tacos and...Vietnamese dumplings were both very good starters, but the main course Octopus (with mushrooms) and the Soft Shell Crab tacos were superb. In fact the octopus has to have been the best I’ve ever had: tender and wonderfully seasoned, combined with the shiitake(?) mushrooms, it was just sublime. The only disappointment was that we failed to identify the precise wine that we’d enjoyed so much on our first visit, but the replacement was fine. The restaurant was virtually full for the duration of our meal, and the ambience was just right for a thoroughly enjoyable meal out in this fascinating Capital city of Mexico.More

We arrived later than expected and asked our excellent concierge at Casa Goliana where we could go....close...for a "bite" of dinner..... not toooooooo much fan fare.? Broka was her #1 choice so off we went. Strolling down Calle Zacatecas we could have easily missed it...as the sign is small and high on the side of the building .....almost as though its a "secret." However, make no mistake, you MUST charge in! You will be discretely ushered past the bar ....thru a curtained wall and the fun begins. It was fabulous. We ordered a vast palette of small plates, yummy wine from an excellent list and proceeded to soak up the high charged energy of both patrons and staff . Thank you thank you Broka....you marked our first night in the Roma district with "firecrackers!"More

Deliscious. No, really. Been meaning to go here after my last visit here. The food is great. The service is ok, be aware of the no English deal here (its not a deal but just saying). The Mexican caprese salad? Amazing. Btw? The room is...gorgeous.More

Broka is lovely; quaint calm courtyard great service and delicious food. We loved the cucumber/lime juice as well as the selection of salsas. Nopale ceviche looked wonderful; perhaps an acquired taste. Rabbit tacos delicious. House red - chilled and very drinkable! Well worth a visit.
