16th Century former hacienda built just after the conquest of Mexico by Hernan Cortez. An archaeological masterpiece of history converted into a first class hotel/spa and fine dining in a semi tropical paradise.
Few steps away from Plaza de la Conchita in Coyoacán, the restaurant offers a promissing moment to eat. Place is very cute and colorfull; waiters super dedicated to make you feel great and a large assortment of abundant dishes and good drinks. Quality though can...improve, taste is good (nothing to jump off the chair), sorrounding and furniture could be cleaner but the trees and their inmensity helps forgetting and allows you to spend a good time.More
Bring your family and friends to this beautiful spot on a Sunday morning. You are just a walk away from Frida's house and the streets are covered with established trees and colorful homes. It's the beautiful parts of Mexico City. The food is great, you...get a full breakfast of juice, coffee, eggs, and pan dulces. Linger a bit and take pictures. It's peaceful, relaxing and full of other families having a good time. :)More
This restaurant offers top notch food and the service is very good as well. Although is small, I really recommend it cause the outdoor environment under the trees and the beautiful and details garden makes it very special. Bring a light jacket at night since...under the trees it could get a little chilly.More
I came here with my wife and mom and to start with, the garden is gorgeous. It was worth coming just to sit in the beautifully decorated out-door seating.
The food was not amazing, however was pleasant and was very inexpensive compared to how much...I thought it would be - we spent around 450 pesos for the three of us for breakfast.
The service was good as well.More
In the huge, yet very friendly Ciudad de Mexico we found this nice restaurant in Coyoacan. The three of us enjoyed our lunch and afterwards had the little muntu crawl on the terrace, while listening Mexican music being performed live. Very nice food, very friendly...staff and joyful atmosphere.More
So the food was good, although it arrived a bit cold at the table. The hostess and captain were not very warm or welcoming. When I requested for a table for a party of 10, their eyes just popped out and made expressions as if...it was a very difficult request. They took like 20 minutes to set up a table (too long if I might add) and they do not have enough umbrellas to cover us from the sun. Waiters were a bit slow. The place itself is very beautiful.More
This restaurant has outside seating in a nice and beautiful garden. It does get quite full during breakfast so be prepared to wait or get there before 9AM.

Once you step into Coyoacán (“Land of the Coyotes”) you'll find picturesque parks and cantinas that will transport you back to the colonial era thanks to the brick and stone details of the area. Iconic writers such as Trotsky and great painters like Frida Kahlo seeked refuge and inspiration in this area, and you can see the unique spirit of this neighborhood reflected in its colorful market where nieves, sopes
and all kinds of traditional 'antojitos' are a must try. Restaurants and cafés throughout its peaceful paved streets contain traditional but unique murals and decorations, where one can enjoy a mezcal at noon or the best churros with a cup of coffee.
