For those who love Argentine restaurants but find the price too high this Uruguayan restaurant, with almost identical food at much more affordable prices, is what you're looking for. The usual steaks, cooked just right. For something not on a typical Argentine menu try the Chivito (available as a plate dish or sandwich) an enormous portion of beef or chicken... More

Unimpressed overall, many better places to eat nearby... Slow service, food was just average and huge portions of the glands. Ugh!

An Uruguayan restaurant with amazing uruguayan meat. Reasonable prices and tasteful food... A really must go if you are having dinner in this region for business or tourism.

I had to try Don Asado, as a uruguayan, needed to test another one of the series of uruguayan restaurants in Mexico City, The portions are big, take that on account,...and the beef was perfect and very good....I took the uruguayan filet, all in all, price is right and the place is pleasant and simple.

This place is the typical place you go with your work mates. It is a cheapish place with big portions. You can order meter long pizzas or big meat pieces. The quality of the food is regular, but portuons are big. There is allways people so the ambiance is fun.

We went there because of TripAdvisor reviews and it was not far from our hotel. It is not gourmet food nor should a vegetarian get close to it. But it is a raucous family steakhouse with few tourists and lots of local families. The meat is good and plentiful. The sides are also good. I had a homemade sausage on... More

A truly Uruguayan restaurant in the heart of Mexico DF., good prices. Excellent pizza, brick oven to make the steaks brings a special flavor.

Nice atmosphere & friendly service. Uruguayan steak house is the theme here, they have quite a nice menu to satisfy the carnivores. Cheap place so don't expect great dry aged steaks but decent experience overall.

As the name suggests, this is a grilled meats restaurant. The cuts are Uruguayan style -- not thick cuts. The regular meats are good, not great. They cook over an open flame parrilla that from what I could tell is wood fueled. The prices are good. They have premium cuts that cost more. I tried the Uruguayan cut. It is... More
