This is a nice looking place. However, they got my order wrong, the food was so-so, and were not very attentive.

Required us to eat something in order to sit at a table even with all tables empty. Very arrogant waiters that didnt take orders properly, and added 10% tip without asking. No thank you or anything. Not the place to go in Condesa anyway: choose a place on Av Amsterdam for better atmosphere!

Bacán is a great place to eat. It has a big inside dining area and a beautiful (pet friendly) terrace. The food is delicious and every three months they change the specialties in the menu. Also they have a great wine cellar. I had been there for lunch, but now they have Sunday Brunches. You can find traditional plates such... More

We were their only guests on a Subday afternoon when we arrived which put my partner off big time. But the hostess was gorgeous so I insisted and we did not regret it. Great martini and delicious mango daiquiri started is. I ordered a dish that anointed to a fried egg on French fries with a Spanish sausage..fabulous. For mains... More

I can't say anything bad about Bacan. And lots of people, especially Mexico City people, like it. There's a street side terrace where you can see and be seen, and very comfortable interior seating. I wish the food was a little better, and a little more adventurous. When you call a hamburger one of the specialities of the house, you... More

Had lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant and terrace are located on a during weekdays busy street (Nuevo Leon). The service was very good, the food was nice, although my pasta was a bit bland. They have a fairly big terrace which must be nice in the evening when it fills up. Would definitely return.

You can sit here and watch the world go by....slowly....as you have a meal. This is a quiet (relatively) intersection in the otherwise very hectic and congested Mexico City. The restaurant is far enough away from major streets to not have a lot of congestion yet still has reasonably good access for those people who do not live within walking... More

Mediterranean fare, good wine list, excellent menu selection. Delicious dinner in a great spot for dining on the sidewalk on a warm night. Very friendly staff.
