Once in a while, you happen those restaurants that have a simple, unpretentious, yet exceptionally well executed vibe about them. Where as soon as you walk in, you know you are going to get a superlative meal and an all round experience to remember. Maximo...More

We finally threw a dart at two menu items because the room was dark and the font of the menu items too small to read on the darkened background. Little English spoken when we were here. The food was good and the service, too.

I absolutely love this place, I even celebrated my 40th birthday there! Always very busy, but you can just chill upstairs while having a drink. I especially love the short ribs in red wine and the pasta on black squid ink. A must if you...More

My experience was terrible. First, the place is relatively small with indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated outside but walked through the indoor area on our way. The interior was so incredibly loud (no music, just bad accustics) that I mentioned to my wife...More

The French/Mexican integration of ingredients and presentation is just completely knock-out here: I had sea bass with a cream/wine sauce that was so fresh and exciting that I just couldn't believe it. The service is excellent and friendly, but it is the food that takes...More

We had just seen an Anthony Bourdain show highlighting this restaurant as the best...We started with delicious bread and many courses, yellowtail, waygu beef, delicious salad, more of the best bread we've had since Paris, and an amazing dessert course. Can't recommend enough and shocked at the final...More

Excellent food, good service (our waiter, Oscar, worked hard to translate our menu into english). A top shelf menu in a bistro setting; simple wooden tables and chairs, simple decor. Outdoor and indoor dining options. Book ahead, this place is full every night for a...More

Some time ago, this locals favorite was almost shut down during an interesting drama that involved corruption and some cuestionable actions on the part of government officials. However, Chef Eduardo García maintained his integrity and was promptly defended by the locals of what is one...More

Great place for dinner! Everything on the menu is amazing, but try the NY steak. I also really enjoyed the deserts!

Known for its constant cultural and gastronomic
developments, Roma, is a beautiful neighborhood that
was once the place for poets such as Kerouac and
Ginsberg to call home. Galleries, museums and even
private residences are on beautiful display when
walking through Colima street to do some necessary
shopping or when going to the classic Cine Tonalá to
enjoy a delicious dinner and a great film. Top notch
