The best food in town, the menu is made daily and any plate will disappoint you. Is small place. Need to make reservations in advance.

I enjoyed my dinner at Maximo though I'm not sure I'd return. I found the menu limited and a bit expensive. Our servers were knowledgable and provided a nice dining experience.

Our son and his girlfriend were visiting us from the US and I wanted to take them to a nice lunch after picking them up from airport. I made a reservation @ 1:30pm very early for locals. We arrived right on time, we were the first to arrive, so we were able to choose our table of choice. I explained... More

Small and cosy place . Very simple not elegant. Maybe 8 tables. Menus change every day subject to the chef decision . High quality of ingredients . High quality of food. Intl, Mexican cuisine . Very tasty and not so expensive .

So far the food is Excellent, however, being used to the excellent Mexican hospitality and service Maximo bistro is below the average. Food is about all around experiences and despite good food you expect good service Waiters are always defensive instead of being helpful. It is a disappointment that a place with good cooking could provide bad service hopefully they... More

Incredible arrogant Maitre'd and service staff. We waited an hour for a table and were ignored for 10 more minutes while we watched the staff attend to the other tables. Much better options in Mexico City.

I heard such good things about this place, had to try for myself. The physical restaurant left lots to wish for: a bistro but way less kept than the Parisian version. People talking at neighboring tables nearly drowned our conversation, but sitting outside wasn't an option because of all the cars honking their horns. Nevertheless, the food was amazing! And... So many places have reviews that for some might be good and other might be not so good. This place is a definite place to be service at moments is off but the food is fantastic. If your traveling in Mexico and food is something you're looking for, your search is over. Try the place

I really get surprised of how bad this restaurant is and how many good reviews it has. I ordered four different plates that is a good amount of dishes to qualify a restaurant. Octopus ceviche, organic chicken, pumpkin ravioli and buffala salad. In general anything got salt, everything was tasteless. Another detail is the buffala salad didn't have the usual... More
