Beautiful setting and friendly service. Eat here prior to going to the San Angel Saturday Market. Lots of artists displaying their goods.

Saks has gained a well deserved high marks reputation for its food, service and restored historical locations. On our most recent visit we well spent our obiligatory time next door at Bazar de Sabado and then rewarded ourselves with Saks... live cuban - tropical music and singing, impromptu dancing (locals getting up from tables and performing like professionals) and a... Saks is a perfect place for having brunch, lunch, dinner, or just a few drinks while in San Angel. San Angel is one of my favorite neighborhoods in CDMX. The outdoor terrace is very pleasant. This restaurant is very popular, so reservations are recommended if you want to have a good table.

Our friends that live in Mexico City brought us here for brunch. What a treat as it is situated in the heart of beautiful San Angel. The building is beautiful inside and outside. We sat outside on the terrace. The weather was perfect. The Mimosas were good. The coffee very good. The food was very tasty. They bring a complimentary... More

We have been here several times over the past four years because of the good quality of food and excellent service, but each time we have returned the service has not been as good as the time before. This last time, we went there for lunch, and found the place to have been expensively and beautifully renovated, but now the... More

Every time we visit family in CDMX, one of my only request is to have breakfast at Saks San Angel. This past weekend was not such a joyous occasion. Although the the food was a solid 4, the service from the front door male greeter, management and server was barely a 1 star. This truly pains me because the restaurant... More

I sat outside for a pleasant breakfast. The staff are very friendly and the food was very tasty. It's pretty cheap for what you get and the ambiance street side by the park was nice.

Went with friends to visit the out door markets and came across this restaurant on the square. The food was excellent, average price, staff very friendly and service good. What made it was the building decor and design the ambiance was incredible. (see pics). Notice the large tequila bar!!!! Highly recommended. When finished walk around to view the old houses... More

San Angel
San Ángel is known for its artistic vibe and elegant details displayed throughout its streets, antique residences and haciendas where famous actors like Consuelo Velázquez, Capulina and other prominent families used to live and that have now been turned into beautiful galleries, cafés and restaurants. An array of cultural and artistic activities are organized in the neighborhood, but it is on Saturdays when the San Jacinto Plaza and surroundings really shine as artists gather to exhibit a variety of arts and crafts, from paintings to clothing.
