We ordered drinks and waited an hour for them to not show up, despite the fact the waitress told us twice they were on their way and would only be a moment.

I am surprised by the mixed reviews as the night we went everything was excellent. The service was 10/10 with friendly staff (they even offered everyone a sample cocktail they were working on) and tasty cocktails. Yes, they're pricey but the taste and presentation make...it a worthwhile visit.More

Searched for the best drinks at colonia roma and came across this terribly managed place. They have no dress code but if you look touristy hipster, they'll find the worst table at best. I ordered a couple of drinks and by far not above average,...i think this place is way overrated. Prices are reasonable for bars in locality but ambience was not there. Not a good place for drinks because service is bad.More

I visited Mexico City a few days ago. A vibrant and eclectic city that offers great restaurants and bars. We wanted to enjoy a special experience and reserved a table at Licoreria Limantour. The bar is number 10 on the list of the 50 Best...Bars in the world. I do not understand how such a mediocre (and I am trying to be nice here) establishment can even be part of a very preliminary list of the top bars in the world. The cocktails are not more than OK, served in very simply ornamented glasses, if at all. Service is poor and not professional. The ambiance is of a student's bar with very plain and disappointing decor. Any of these dissapointing features would be somehow acceptable if the bar was not praising itself with being number 10 on the list of 50 best bars in the world.... In summary, a tremendous disappointment...not only by Licoreria Limantour, but primarily by the organization named 50 Best Bars in the world. If this was a mistake they made, they'd better correct it soon. Otherwise, their reputation will be stained for a long time.More

Maybe I went on an off night....but I was unimpressed. This place came highly recommended. The actual location is cute, it's small but has a cute skylight and all gender accessible bathrooms, which I appreciate. But I came here for the drinks! And the drinks...disappointed. I ordered three mixed drinks and each one of them had me questioning whether alcohol was added. Even if the alcohol was apparent, the flavor combinations were not complex. I hate paying $15 for a drink in the States, but I've had some drinks that were complex enough and reflective of the actual ingredient parings that allow me to lie to myself that the drink is worthy of the price tag. The presentation of the drinks was nice though. But these were just overpriced, basic drinks. Service was also spotty. The servers seemed nice, but weren't very responsive. A single shot took longer to come than all my drinks and food. Maybe it was just selective prejudice or an off night for everyone, but I was very let down by this place. Roll the dice and try at your own risk!More

Well, there is a lot of places to have drinks, but definitely, this places could be in my top 5, but beware, the prices might be a little bit higher than other places far from the Roma neighborhood. You can feel welcome in this place...and this is something important in a place like Limantour, you might be used to have waiters trying to sell you the most expensive drink but in here, you can actually enjoy asking the waiter and reviewing the options on the menu. So, you better have a drink or two here and you'll be happy.More

Great music Great drinks Host, can improve by a LOT. They did not report what drinks were not available until we tried placing the order. We were not offered food until we noticed people eating. By the way the brie dosh was outstanding. In addition...we booked the table one month in advance. Our table was outside by the whole bar traffic. And Very uncomfortable chairs.More

Music is good, drinks are tasty and original. The host Samuel was quite snobby in giving an outside table even though it was all empty an I had a reservation. What a shame power-crazy hosts can taint an evening.

We went on Super Bowl Sunday, so perhaps the ambiance was a bit off. I love cocktails and cocktail bars, and the service here was really friendly and attentive but the drinks were just ok. I've had the same drinks (better) in other places. I...also agree with others who have said the original drinks tend towards the sweet side. A nice, fun place, but not quite what I was expecting. The flaming shot in the inverted lime was a nice touch!More

If you’re having dinner in the Roma neighborhood, check out this place to have a drink before dinner. Arriving early increases your chances of grabbing a table outdoors giving you some great people watching. The drink list is very expansive, but I think everyone can...find something. All the ingredients are very fresh and obviously made with love. Whenever I asked a question, the servers were very helpful and very descriptive as to what the drink was like.More

Stopped in looking for a place to grab a nice cocktail while on vacation. This place was just what I was looking for. Appears to be frequented by a good mix of locals and tourists. Great service & drinks.

Very nicely designed with an expansive drink list. The first drink I ordered was SO sweet, like beyond dessert sweet. I wasn’t able to finish it. It may have been the LP review that mentioned their drinks veer on the sweet side and they were...not kidding. Definitely ask for a less sweet drink if that’s not your thing.More

We visited on a Saturday night and it was packed. The place have a fun and loud ambiance. If you are looking for a fun cocktail in a loud and busy environment this is the place. If you want a lounge style kind of bar...skip it. Overall is good.More

In the US, they would charge at least $20 for these concoctions. It's clear the staff love what they do and put in the effort to make cocktails that taste great, look great, and are fun. I ate spiraled cucumber noodles out of a mezcal...cocktail. That's the fun part. It looked cool and tasted fantastic without the noodles. I had a few and sampled more, everything was great. Careful with La Morena, that was a glass of dessert. If you don't want a cocktail then sample from the extensive mezcal collection that I was told was a very choice collection., but I have no basis for comparison. They had a lot and I enjoyed what I tried. It was small and got very loud very quickly.More

We never needed reservations for our three visits, which were fairly early evening. If you intend to go later (after 8:30), you should probably make reservations.
