Located almost at the end of the fashionable Obregón strip, just off Mérida (note that on Mérida, just around the corner Franca has a small pizzería), this small bistro caught our eye with a comfortable and unpretentious vibe, a varied and reasonably priced menu, and a menú del día. We elected the sidewalk cafe seating for a late afternoon (5:00)... More

I went to Franca Bistro on Jan. 30, 2016 with my best friend. We had the most amazing mango martinis beautifully presented with fresh strawberries. The escargot was fantastic! Some of the best I've ever had. The cheese platter was wonderful as well. We tried the tuna/pistachio entree and it was absolutely delicious, as well as the rack of lamb... More

French cuisine, beautiful dishes. Sober and inspiring ambiance. This are the dishes I tasted: Scargots - Too buttery, poorly executed, required more dedication, also the Snail Tongs were super old and could not hold the shell without maneuvering it a lot. Wellington Beef - Gorgeous, beautiful and delicious, it was the most perfect wellington beef I have ever tasted and... More

We went to Franca around 7 pm on New Years Eve, in Mexico City this is very early. They were fully booked but no one was coming till 8:30. They offered us an amended menu and did anything they could to make our New Year's and our toddler's night special. I had amazing octopus with black ink mayonnaise, beautiful salad... More

We happen to stop in this location by accident, but it was a great one the food was really good only that i wish they had a larger selection of Mexican wines. This was a great stop within our trip in South of Mexico.
