This is the second time that I visit this restaurant, the terrace of this restaurant is in a prime location just in front of the oldest cathedral in the Americas. The view from this place is really awe inspiring and make you feel that you're traveling in time. They used to have handcrafted items from several states of Mexico but... More

Very nice view of the Zocolo but that is all. The service and the food were terrible. The service was very slow and the waiters attitude was very poor. The food is just basic and not worth the money. You get hustled off the street in front of the Zocolo with assurances of good food, good service and an enjoyable... More

The view is fantastic. Worth climbing the stairs to take it in while finishing off a cerveza. Food was decent but much better dining elsewhere in Mexico City. There are 2 roof top restaurants on this block and several without views. If you get "hawked" into one of the non-view restaurants don't be shy about walking out. The street hawkers... More

We were pulled into this restaurant off of the street, and decided to give it a try. The food is quite expensive. The service, live music, and view were AMAZING. The food was ok.

We went to the Zocalo in Mexico D.F. to see how it was fixed with the tree and the skating rink. We roamed around and watched the skaters until it was time for dinner and went to eat at the Puro Corazon. There was no table left on the outside of the terrace so we took one in the center.... More

Despite the great view, do not go here. Just got a bill of $315... Paid with $500 and waiter came back to say I'd given him a $50. Confused as I was sure it was a $500 we paid again, but realised we had definitely paid with $500 after checking remaining cash. Went back to confront him and he was... More

the place is fantastic, great view etc etc. When we had to pay I paid with 2, 200 pesos bills and within 2 seconds the waiter changed one bill for a 20 and made a fuss. I paid the rest as this is the best to do in a situation like this. I just changed 150 Euro into 2400 pesos... More

Great Mexican food and service, with a view of the Zocalo. Even though this is one of the places hawked by guys waving menus at you on the street-level, it really is quite good.

Food is good, although not great. But the view is incredible, straight across the main square from the presidential palace. I had the stuffed Jalapenos, some if which were cold, then I had the Cochinito Pibil which was delicious, followed by dessert which was awful. So I would recommend dinner, enjoy the view, have a coffee, but skip the dessert.... More

They serve standard Mexican fare with some nice touches- chilaquiles, enchiladas, omelets made with huitlacoche. Nothing spectacular. You aren't going to come for an amazing meal. You are going to come for the great view of the cathedral and the Zocalo and to sit down and get out of the crowds for a bit. Relax on the balcony and gaze... More
