I really enjoy going out to see places that offer me an interesting gastronomic experience and this restaurant meets the necessary attributes to offer it, the dishes are of the highest quality, the portions are generous and you can tell that everything is made from the heart, not just to sell, because all the dishes on the menu are clearly designed to surprise your palate. I went with my family and we started with some very well prepared baked empanadas with an incomparable flavor, very similar to what you can find in Argentina but with the special touch of the ingredients that you find in Mexico, my favorite was the corn with cheese! We ordered a meat juice for my son and the surprise was very pleasant, it felt very fresh, made to order, with a balance of flavors that pleased the palate! We ordered a cut to share a ready-made Argentine-type Vacio, which melts in the mouth, seasoned only with salt and with the unmatched flavor of the grill, then I discovered that your cut comes out better cooked and in less time, they have a wood oven that, apart from speeding up the process, adds an exquisite flavor to the meat, ideal for grill lovers. We closed the season with a majestic dessert, a Rogel Cordobés that was delicious, it is a homemade cookie cake, filled with dulce leche and decorated with meringue. A bomb of flavor that if you accompany it with the good coffee they serve there, you will close the night like a king! The prices are affordable, considering the high quality of their dishes, the atmosphere of the place and the effort that everyone who works there puts into making this experience one of those you have to live when you come to Mexico City, without a doubt. I'm returning to GARDELA, see you there soon!
P.S. Order a Carajillo Gardela, you won't regret it!

I was surprised with the impecable service, table spacing and my sommelier SALVADOR and server CHRISTIAN. I was suggested 2 red wines and they were phenomenal, without breaking the bank.
My wife and I like to share the food, so we ordered HAMACHI, Rockefeller oysters, jumbo shrimp and finally Wagyu Sirloin. Our plates were changed every time and my wine glass was never empty. The food is world class. Did not tried desserts, but the coffee (espresso) was great.

I had no idea it existed, we came by recommendation and were pleasantly surprised. The place is very nice, the service is excellent, the basket of bread is delicious, well-served portions, delicious meat, pizza and empanadas with fresh ingredients. I'm not giving it five stars for two reasons: I think the prices are a bit high, and they use canned mushrooms! I want to go back to try the pasta.

This was really disappointing. We ordered three different dishes and none of them were good. My Beef Milanesa was tough, drenched in oil and had no flavor. They had one type of white wine on the menu, which was a sour Chardonnay at $20 a glass. I tried it, but had a beer instead.
What was the worst part is the staff. We had two waiters literally hovering over our table the entire time. I appreciate attentiveness, but this was ridiculous.
A nice ambiance, but the food is not on par with what you might expect here. Don’t waste your money, there’s better options in Mexico City.

We visited this restaurant on our first night in CDMX. The waiters were over attentive to the point of being annoying. Constantly interrupting and trying to upsell which was not great for a romantic dinner. For most of the evening at least four to five waiters were standing facing our table at the entrance to the restaurant which we did not find very enjoyable! The picanha steak was tasty but the skirt steak was very salty and chewy. No wine list which means you have to scroll through a tablet which is not a practical method of choosing wine! The creamed spinach side was very rich and again, very salty! The French fries were cold and dry. The restaurant looks beautiful and there is a good ambience but it is completely overpriced for very average food.

Came here for a Monday night dinner. Very nice atmosphere. Food was tasty overall and portions were huge. I had lamb chops with mashed potatoes. Husband had ribeye and daughter had brisket tacos. She said the tacos were the best of the trip. We also ordered the Greek octopus appetizer that unfortunately was served at the same time as the entrees. The kitchen was slow - took 45 minutes for food to come out. But overall a good meal.

One of our best meals in Mexico City - The restaurant is beautiful - and the service attentive and friendly. Our group enjoyed an outstanding bread basket and delicious empanadas, pizza, steak, and potato side dishes. There are great cocktail and wine options. A very enjoyable experience.

First of all we'd like to thank you staff for making us feel welcomed. Now for starter we had the dry aged beef capacious which was incredible. Hands down the best carpaccio I have had. Now the main course was the porterhouse steak which they cut in front of us then placed on a sizzling plate. The best part of the presentation was the pouring of melted butter sizzling. In short do try this place.

Ya know, sometimes you just want service and food to match. Sometimes you want a burger, American style. Sometimes you don't want to worry about the food and whether it's going to be good or (for hubby) too spicy. So, go already to Gardela. Close by the Stanza Hotel, it's ... Excellent. The waiters are great, the food superb, the breads wonderful. Don't miss this lovely restaurant.

We had dinner at the Gardela restaurant and took the Porterhouse and did not regret our choice. It was the best meat we had ever eaten in our lives! The service is also careful and very professional. Everything was perfect ! We recommend this restaurant 300%

The service is excellent, the attention is very friendly and the food is very delicious.
It is a very good restaurant for important events, both formal and informal.

A place for taking a photo and that's it. Terrible service, very slow, and the food is nothing out of the ordinary. You can easily skip this place due to the ridiculous prices they have.
