We went to eat to Yoshimi and we ordered some edamame. The waiter brought us a bowl of edamame, and we started to eat them, but suddenly my son realized that the edamame were already eaten and that we were actually just licking on the waste that was left of them. We told the waiter and he didn't even apologize,... More

The eel was fantastic! As well as the seaweed soup. Refined and elegant presentation of the food; real japanese experience.

I'm a regular here and a huge Japanese food aficionado. The quality is top notch as well as the tranquil ambience. Service can be a little slow, I strongly suggest seating at the sushi bar for the best experience

taste of sushi of this restaurant is best in mx. Eventhough it is a little bit expensive, the food is worth it.

This restaurant has the worst food I have tried in years, its worst than the fast food sushi of a shopping mall but with the prices of Nobu. The service is terrible. The quality of the food is really bad. Any other place you decide to go in Mexioc City for Japanese will be better than this ones. This has... More

I've been to Toyota 24 times and dining at Yoshimi reminds me of eating in Toyota. In fact, I have trouble ordering in Spanish, I keep making the mistake of speaking Japanese. They do the basics very well - the soups are excellent. I had the orange roll (crab and avocado) - it was very tasty. My colleague prefers the... More

I wasn't expecting much in a Japanese restaurant in Mexico City but when I entered the restaurant, my expectations increased. I was brought down to earth with the average food which was subsequently brought out... Not bad but not good either...

I only ate there once for lunch but it was very underwhelming. Ok, so I lived in Japan for many years so perhaps my standards are high, but the quality of fish used for sashimi plate was so so, they were not sliced well so they were full of suji, or connective tissue, that a well-trained chef would have been... Yoshimi has very nice japanese food, in a beautiful setting inside Hyatt Hotel. What really trashes the place is the extremely bad service. You can wait for hours for a drink, and servers are the most indolent I have seen in a long time. A shame.
