My wife and I were planning to visit the Chapultepec Castle and we're looking for something nearby for lunch. Of course, I opened TripAdvisor to see what the community had to say. As the first in the list that came up, and #275 of 2,849 restaurants in the city, we thought we'd try it. We were not disappointed. Far from... More

Had lunch with my friends before Christmas and loved it. I hadn't been back to El Mirador for quite some time but the restaurant hasn't lost a step and continues to provide excellent food and service at very reasonable prices. Well worth the visit and by the way you should order plates to share with everyone especially the pork shank... More

We came here for a meal on Christmas Eve. The staff was impeccable. The Caesar Salad , made at the table, was a production complete with the raw egg yolk. My romeritos were lovely, and my husband had an excellent Tampequeña. We were too stuffed to sample the excellent-looking desserts, just had a really good espresso. This place was founded... More

Found this place when searching up something that was near us while we were in the park and thought it sounded good. We got there around 2pm or so and the restaurant was empty (I"m not sure if it's busier in the evening or what). I always get a little worried when a restaurant is that empty, but it was... More

This is a "men only" establishment with a restaurant next door. Men gather here to eat, drink and play dominoes and "cubilete". The atmosphere is unique but the food which is original, lately isn´t so good and it´s expensive.

Old place best know as El Mirador because it is located near Castillo de Chapultepec. Tipical Cantina salon with traditional mexican food. They have a long tradition of great flavors. You will not find some Tacos de Lengua (beef tongue tacos), tostadas de pata (pork leg over a roasted tortilla) all over the city. Its diference are its flavor really... More

this is a traditional mexican cantina, with both it's saloon side and family room. You should order a "tribilin" (fish, shrimp and meat cooked with lemon juice and worcestershire), "puntas de venado" (deer in a hot chile souce) or "tacos de lengua" (beef tongue tacos). Drink some tequila or have a couple of beers, and have a great chat with... More

After a long day enjoying the beautiful Chapultepec castle, nothing can be better than finding this gem of a restaurant! A mere block away from the park, Metro exit. The wait staff was very attentive and had good recommendations. My wife had a naranjada that was made from real orange juice not syrup. My daugther wanted an iced tea and... More
