Villa Maria is a large, busy, noisy restaurant with live music and good Mexican food. We went for lunch on a Saturday and although the place was crowded, service was on point and everything we tried was very good! The large margaritas are HUGE and the portions are generous.

I took a colleague here for her birthday dinner while we were on a business trip, and we couldn't have had a better time. The restaurant employs a mariachi band that will play on the main floor for awhile, and then goes from room to room "serenading" tables--you can arrange a serenade beforehand if you are there for a special... When traveling to Mexico City, we wanted some Mexican Food. Our host took us to Villa Maria and it was a great experience. The restaurant has a great layout for larger parties and the waiters were very polite and attentive. We decided to order family style and were able to try many dishes. The Shrimp Tacos were excellent. On our... More

So reads a sign in the restaurant.... A place for locals ( I guess except the mariachis) where you will find many tourists also, since it is rather close to hotels. Had not been in the restaurant for several years. It has not changed, good mexican food, reasonable prices and good service. I do not care personally for too much... More

I was invited to this restaurant during a business trip, and we had different types of Mexican food. Very tasty, and very nice atmosphere in the restaurant.

A lovely restaurant with excellent food and amazing staff. Woman in the center on the dining room making fresh tacos. Singing and large margaritas. Largest selection of tequilas you will ever see. Worth every penny.

Villa Maria is a tourist standby. It is conveniently located with good reliable food, live music and fun atmosphere. The margaritas are HUGE and good. There is nothing creative about the offerings, but nothing is bad either. Prices are reasonable. Service is excellent which is normal for Polanco. A little loud, which can make conversations difficult.
