I went to Mexico to celebrate my birthday and before the trip I found out that Mexico City had three restaurants in the list of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World. One was Biko, I reserved with a month in advance and stated that was an special occasion since I was celebrating my birthday. After being served our appetizer... More

If you plan to visit Biko, I highly suggest a reservation. I was in Mexico city with my buddy and chef Mich filming a video for a restaurant in Polanco. We decided to go to Biko without a reservation and hope they had some space. When we arrived they asked us for out reservation, we confessed we didn't have one,... More

Food is fusion and well prepared. We had the tasting menu for a very reasonable price and enjoyed it even tough it was not memorable - service was great - atmosphere OK.

Biko lived up to its reputation for fine dining when we visited, offering a great fusion between the Basque and Mexican cuisines, and then putting its own creative and innovative twist to them. Two of us had the tasting menu and one had a la carte, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our dishes. The service was helpful and attentive, without... More

The service and food were very good. We had the tasting menu which was delicious. While I really have no criticisms to offer, it just wasn't memorable enough to receive a 5 rating.

This is an upscale restaurant in Polanco which serves high cuisine international food in an elegant modern setting. The menu is innovative and everything we ate, from the appetizers, the fish, meat and dessert were truly outstanding, perfectly prepared and artfully presented. There was a very good wine list with mexican and international wines. The price was also very reasonable... More

Biko is a very good restaurant located in the trendy Polanco neighborhood. It is considered one of the top 3 restaurants in Mexico City. I ordered the tasting menu, complete with wine pairings. The tasting menu + wine pairings is 2100 pesos, which is about $110 U.S. dollars. This is a pretty good deal for an eight course tasting menu,... More

Seriously.....we are so glad we indulged! The best I ever had. There was a chocolate mousse with some kind of crime Brûlée on top. I had the lamb chops....cooked to perfection. Some type of shrimp appetizer, which could have been an entree. My daughter is a vegetarian and they were so accommodating. I would skip the bread, which gets replenish... More

I went with my father to Biko for lunch. I ordered the degustacion menu and my father choose from a la carte. All the dishes were good, some more than others, especially the lechon (from a la carte) and the lubina from the degustacion. The odd one in the degustacion was the curry coco dessert. I couldnt make my mind... More
