Apparently a historic hacienda home but completely what one would expect when visiting a traditional restaurant in Mexico. The food is really high standard but not cheap. Nonetheless, it is all worth it. If you have the money to spend, please go.

Big menu big place big wine list. Hacienda de los morales will satisfy people with classic consistent food. My only complaint was the uncomfortable chairs and cushions

A must see and eat restaurant! This is a historic hacienda home, one of the most iconic places to visit in town. The ambience of the place is first rate. The staff is not just friendly and attentive, the service was perfect. The food was superb. Full bar. Crowded with locals and foreigners. Expensive, but do not miss it, if... More

The ambiance of the place is first rate, many courtyards abound. The food is good and plentiful, I had the veal, which was like a stroganoff, very tasty. The Tequila was served with a side short of tomato juice with extra's, which was just amazing. A good place for business meeting.

One of the most iconic places to visit, a beautiful restaurant with a special atmosphere... not quite the San Angel Inn, but close in terms of setup... however, in th food department, I was not particularly pleased, you can find a myriad of places in Mexico City with better options for Mexican food... a "must" to visit to check the... With only one night - a Sunday night - in Mexico city, my colleague and I were looking for a memorable place that was open and had vegetarian options. Housed in a historic hacienda, the service was top notch and the food was delicious. A nice take on Modern Mexican cooking (with some Spanish influences). I would definitely return!

Location, ambience and service were solid (but not exceptional). The hacienda was pretty outside, but having been to San Angel Inn the day before, i would have expected the interior to be slightly more decorated. The waiters were polite. The rellenos with crab meat had several chunks of shell in it. Ravioli was cold and undercooked. Probably would not return... More

I visited the restaurant along with my family. They were really excited because this place has a nice history, so expectations were high. The place is quite beautiful. Live music was fantastic! The guy playing the violin was great. They do offer a very good service. Waiters are very kind. Some, however seem not very comfortable having us asking a... More

The setting oozes old-school charm. The service staff are among the most professional in the city. The food is epic. Travel back in time to enjoy an experience the way it used to be (and rarely is anymore). I can't wait to go back!

During colonial times la Hacienda de los Morales was located on the outskirts of Mexico City, but today it is within its confines, only a short distance from the exclusive hotels, museums and shops of Polanco. This stately mansion, a recipient of numerous awards including the 5 Diamond and the Dirona Awards, and the Executive Chef Alejandro Heredia Resendiz named Mexican Chef of the 20th Century by the Cullinary Academy of France, transports visitors to another era in a refined atmosphere where the hospitality and service make every moment a memorable one. In addition to the international menu with Mexican specialties, there are several Gastronomic Festivals each year with the participation of such outstanding establishments as I Chiostri di Firenze, Las Ventanas al Paraiso, The Lobster Festival Puerto Nuevo Style, and Il Milanese Curioso. This formal restaurant is open except Easter week and official Holidays. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie after 6:00 pm.
