We were very exited to go to that place we heard a lot, cos they presented as mexican food in another level. We made a reservation with some requirements, and they didn't even cared about it. To get there wasn't easy and the traffic was terrible. When you get in with your car, things seemed to worth cos it looks... More

We were able to get a reservation for a large table on short notice. I can now see why. The place was virtually deserted.. On a Friday afternoon! Traffic around it is horrible. Drinks were watered down. At $1000 pesos / £50 you can and should find better alternatives.

This place is an old Hacienda (a feudal estate of sorts), hence the name, which means it has a garden with open space and several buildings surrounding it that serve either as the main restaurant or for catering private events. It does not feel like you are in the middle of a busy part of the city and the architecture... More

It was our last night in Mexico City. Do we watch the bull fights or have dinner at Hacienda D Los Morales. So glad we couldn't get tickets. Not sure where to start. The location, the building, the architecture or the wonderful food we had. Walking into the courtyard is a site to be hold. We often imagine ourselves back... More

Hacienda de Los Morales Casper, the Foodie Ghost, goes to Mexico, lindo y querido... Where it looks, touched by heart and soul, like if time hasn't passed, since our times there...45 years back Last week we were invited, by prestigious CEMEX, to Mexico City As every year they were hosting their Construction Awards, granted to the very best, outstanding and... Good restaurant for lunch or dinner in a traditional hacienda inside the city. Good food, reasonably priced with good portions.I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Mexico City.

Description
During colonial times la Hacienda de los Morales was located on the outskirts of Mexico City, but today it is within its confines, only a short distance from the exclusive hotels, museums and shops of Polanco. This stately mansion, a recipient of numerous awards including the 5 Diamond and the Dirona Awards, and the Executive Chef Alejandro Heredia Resendiz named Mexican Chef of the 20th Century by the Cullinary Academy of France, transports visitors to another era in a refined atmosphere where the hospitality and service make every moment a memorable one. In addition to the international menu with Mexican specialties, there are several Gastronomic Festivals each year with the participation of such outstanding establishments as I Chiostri di Firenze, Las Ventanas al Paraiso, The Lobster Festival Puerto Nuevo Style, and Il Milanese Curioso. This formal restaurant is open except Easter week and official Holidays. Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie after 6:00 pm.
