Alway enjoy the original restaurant in the city of Oaxaca. The Coyoacan doesn´t live up to that standard. Unknowledgeable wait staff on their (unknown-brand) artisan beer. Given a simple choice: dark or light. Two people ordered dark, one light. Waitress brought two lager, one pale...More

nice food at Coyoacan plaza. Can get busy during weekends as it is not that big but it was worth it. Local cuisine and good spirits menu.

Coyoacan is a great area, typical mexican town, with many people around selling stuff on the street, some musicians playing around looking for some coins, it is a charming town, really! This restaurant is there in the main square, so is not a quiet peaceful...More

I recommend as starter Tacos de pato, I tested, an amazing experience. My choice for lunch was Filete de Res en Chichilo Negro, my recommendation is medium cook. The flavor of sauce is excellent. Everything with local beer is a good combination.

The corn soup, crema de elote y chocolate was outstanding! Worth the trip. Also the hoja santa was delicious and unique. Skip the ravioli. Mush. Skip the lamb. Good sweet margarita but pricey, 220 pesos, like $12.00 US. Very attentive service and nice atmosphere.

Great food, with an absolutely fantastic ceviche, great duck tacos and a really good red snapper (huachinango) Very good service and a great selection of Mescal. Now they have a special bug-menu, including crickets, beetles, escamoles and the maguey worm. Really cool things to try,...More

Description
Founded in March 1995, Restaurant Los Danzantes is a study in contrasts: a warm colonial building constructed with volcanic stones and natural nopales surrounding it; a delightful bar carved by Joel Rendon and traditional tones of Mexican music set to a modern rhythm; and, of course, a menu that features regional ingredients shining out in fresh, innovative combinations and fusion cooking.
