Small restaurant with a great variety of choices—from soups to tacos to bigger plates. Side sauces are delicious and fresh. Beverages are unique and delicious. Service can be a bit slow at times; environment is great and very homey.

The restaurant is owned by women who are so friendly. The dishes are on a hand-out menu and also displayed on a monitor over the cash register. The taco combinations are very inspiring, I especially loved the mushroom taco pastor. There are many other menu options, all fresh, healthy and delicious.

Amazing food! Hands down one of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. It was amazing that it was vegan, too! I wish there is a La Pitahaya close to my home. I would eat this food every day.
Everything we ordered was perfectly spiced and cooked. My friend and I ordered the tamale, chicharrón de queso (was like an Indian dosa), mushroom tacos, cauliflower tacos, enchiladas, and the flan. We ate every single bite of everything and spooned every drop of salsa. I almost licked my plate.
The green sauce on the table was divine. I must have eaten half of the container of green sauce on the table. I love, love, love everything. My tastebuds are in heaven right now.
I’m in Mexico City for a few days. I’ll try to come back here multiple times for sure.

We enjoyed the food, although the portions are a bit small for the price. I ordered the waffles and had to pay an unbelievable 80 pesos extra for gluten free!! I've traveled in many countries and I've never eaten in a place that charges so much extra for gluten free options. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious but I think it would be better if they didn't exploit people who are gluten intolerance.

Very gracious service, delicious healthy vegan food, elegant presentation, outdoor seating. The “tres tacos” is a fun deal because you get to pick which three you want. I believe the entire menu is gluten-free. Everything I’ve had so far has been super tasty, and the service consistently friendly.

A very tiny place, no frills. Overflow seating is outside, which can be cool in winter. Seems to be women-run. The main menu is a choice of different vegan tacos. You choose any 3. It is quite filling to have all 3 as the tacos are mounded high. The combinations are unique, crunchy and soft, sweet and tangy. We left quite full. The chai tea was delicious, too.

I just could not stress enough of how amazing and good the food is, the tacos are next level! So rich in flavours, any meal you taste its just going to amaze you, no doubt! I went 6 days in a row during my holidays. Breakfast, lunch, dinner! Just incredible! Also, 10 super stars to the beautiful night's team!
For friends, couples, families or solo. It is a must visit in Roma norte, even if you are not vegan, this is a great spot for you to try a good and worth vegan meal, just saying.. Have fun! get ready those taste buds!

There are not many vegan options in a city of 22 million. La Pitahaya Vegana does an excellent job of fusing Mexican and vegan cuisine. Small and street side with attentive servers this place executes vegan very well.

Hard to know exactly how to review this place since the food was good, but they got our order wrong and weren't willing to remake it when we realized. I ordered a mole dish, no cilantro, sub plantain for banana. The waiter said those changes would be fine, but then brought me enomolada, with cilantro and no plantain (although plantain was an ingredient in the dish). My friend's order was less dramatically different than what she requested, but still off.
I think the issue was that the waiter didn't really speak English, even though, after I asked - in Spanish - if they were still serving dinner, he decided to take our orders in English. I would have been more than happy to order in Spanish, but I figured that him coming to us speaking English meant his English was good - better than my Spanish. And I would have hoped (expected) that if he didn't understand us, he'd ask us to repeat ourselves, to slow down, tell us his English was limited, but this guy didn't do that. Instead he totally acted like he knew what we wanted and brought something completely different.
The food was good so far as wrong orders missing key ingredients go, but I wasn't really able to pick out all the cilantro and the enomolada, absent the plantain, was just a tortilla filled with raw cabbage, which wasn't very filling or satisfying. If however, that's what you want, I guess you got a good one here?

Flavours are amazing, staff are the friendliest ever. Great value healthy fresh food, and so appetising to look at! Worth a visit even if you aren’t vegan or vegetarian, we enjoyed our meal very much, thank you!

This will stop number four on our rover food tour. My wife is vegetarian and I am mainly eat fish. This was a good choice for us and the two tacos we had were very tasty. I particularly like the color flower one.

We got a couple of dishes, the tacos are amazing, you can choose 3. Cauliflower with coconut and creamy pineapple. Potatoes with curry, was so good in a Taco, also Mexican tofu with guac. We also got a big stuffed chili with all kinds of deliciousness, covered in a vegan cream sauce with pomegranate. It was a wonderful meal. I will be back.

The place is clean and staff was very accommodating. I went with family and one of us didn’t receive their order until most of us had already finished our food. The tacos rosados and chilaquiles were good but everything else tasted bland if not a little off. Overall the food was expensive and more photographic than edible.

Have never had such delicious vegan gluten free good. I am in food heaven! Check out my pictures for the dishes we had - all of them were extremely delicious. We wish we were in Mexico city for longer; we would have eaten all my meals here 10/10

This was a stop in a food walking tour we completed in Roma. The food options we tried were vegan tacos, and their flavors were creative and interesting. Add this place to your list if you want to try some vegan options while in Mexico City.
