Wonderful experience at Casa Ofelia. Very cheap food with such flavor and portions that you'll wonder why are they charging so little for something that tastes so luxurious. Everything on the menu is to die for, and people from everywhere seem to know it. Go early because during lunch and dinner ours it is extremely difficult to get a table,... More

For great ambience, good food and a very friendly staff tbis is a place to go. The menu covers all the traditional Mexican dishes. The ones I tried were excellently prepared and well presented. I loved how this restaurant was decorated. The interior is all covered with bright colors of Mexico. Carved and brightly painted chairs and folk arts on... More

This is always our first stop when we visit GTO. Casa Ofelia has the friendliest staff, and delightful service. They have bilingual menus if you need one, and the food is always consistently good. This isn't a fancy place by any means but it's always clean, with good quality food that is consistently good. The sopes, and chilaquiles are to... More

We had been in the car all day & were very hungry... Only ones in the restaurant..so service was excellent.. Lots of food..we all realized we should have shared orders..( could not take leftovers back to our hotel room.). I had the best Azreca soup ever..not too full of sliced tortillas...The broth was delicious.. Everyone enjoyed themselves & said great... More

Friendly service, excellent food and good prices. Located right next to Plaza de la Paz. Check out Ofelia!

very nice start to our day! Great breakfast! We had the Miners Breakfast, good coffee (de olla) and fresh orange juice. Slow service because our waitress seemed to be doing some bookkeeping.

Once was enough. Cute decor but food very average. Truco 7 next door with excellent food. No comparison.

Ate at Cafe Ofelia three times during my stay in Guanajuato - breakfasts and dinner. The decor, service and food were all excellent. It is almost next door to the extremely popular Truco 7, which is nice too, but I prefer Cafe Ofelia. I tried to stick to meals under 70 pesos which is not hard to do, and for... More

We eat lunch here frequently, but we recently stopped in for dinner. The dinner menu offers a fine selection. The chiles rellenos were wonderful, and I don't find them in other restaurants here. Good service, colorful decorations. Don't miss it!
