I can say that of all our trip to Guanajuato this experience was the best, we stayed at hotel San Diego (a crap hotel) and the restaurant is on the second floor of the building, the attention was SPECTACULAR!
We ate very rich and took pains to make everything perfect, I do not remember the name of the gentleman who attended us but his kindness was the best of all Guanajuato! We went with my 2 children and my girl felt bad belly and was always attentive and attentive to everything.

Very good Italian restaurant overlooking the plaza. We had thin crust pizza, cannelloni, and a Mexican appetizer, a shrimp taco, all outstanding. The pizza was very thin crust, service was very good, wine by the glass or bottle was reasonable.

I was pleased to get a balcony table with good air flow. My server's English was very functional . Ricardo looked after me on my second visit as well. His serving skills are very intuitive. On my first visit I chose the beef carpaccio and it was beautifully presented. My 2nd visit: beef medallions with gorgonzola sauce. The beef was cooked rare as ordered. The sauce was a creamy gorgonzola.
The salad was disappointing, plain and wilted. The cubed potatoes were fragrant with rosemary and pan juices. I took home half my lunch for another day. Dessert!! Four crepes folded Crepe Suzette style, in a caramel sauce with a generous amount of chopped walnuts or pecans. Garnished with a strawberry and a slice of starfruit. I returned a couple of days ago just for dessert and a beer. Ricardo greeted me but it was apparently someone else's turn to have that section. This time the fruit garnish was missing and this waiter didn't have the nuanced service that I look for. I was disappointed not to have the excellent experiences of my previous visits. The balcony tables are great!

Looks like no one has reviewed this place in a long time, so I will. Service, food and location is great!
Our first visit, I had the 4 Cheese Pasta (Quatro Queso Pasta) and it was amazing, and I am a Italian food snob! One of the cheeses may have been a smoky Gouda like cheese and it really made the dish super flavorable. If you love cheese, you can really taste the cheese in this dish, its not subtle. 5/5 for the pasta which I didn't expect at this place.
The service on both of my visits was excellent. Attentive and courteous.
I decided not to sit on the balcony because it was cold, but I sat right next to it and the views over the square are lovely.
Coffee and desert was fantastic also! Had the crepe caramel dish that comes with ice-cream... yum yum!
The pizza was just ok to be honest. But please do try the pasta.

Acceptable food
I ordered short pasta and they brought me long pasta. I ordered a house wine and at the time of paying the cost was very high. With only two fart glasses I would have paid for a bottle of some other wine offered. I felt cheated.

Our only regret is that we did not return here on our 2nd and final night. This was outstanding food and service! The tenderloin medallions were melt in your mouth. The fried parsley with bacon - best thing I've had in Mexico. Caprese Salad was lovely. Will make this a standard when visiting again.

Felt fortunate to be walk-ins and get a table overlooking the Jardin and Teatro. Such a great view and nonstop entertainment.
The drinks and food we ordered were good, and reasonably priced and the service was good as well.
Ordered pizza - nothing special but good and a very nice beet salad.

Went here based on google reviews. When we arrived, we didn't expect much as it looks like a typical tourist place. We were pleasantly surprised. Grabbed a balcony table overlooking the swirl of a Friday night street scene. Adriano was our waiter and took great care of us. Got the salmon pizza with pear and the seafoof pasta. Excellent food, nice portions and most reasonable prices. Will definitely return.

The waiters were great, the hostess sat us at a dirty table, we asked her to clean it before setting it up but ignored to do so. The pizza was undercooked and mediocre at it’s best. The tab was not cheap. We paid for better!

Very attentive service, we had a shared salad, pizza and dessert while we watched the people in the plaza. Very relaxing afternoon. The pear salad was very good and easily large enough to share.

Please do NOT waste your money. I know it is a popular foreign destination, however as a local, I advise you NOT to come here. Yes, the view is great, but the food is subpar. It’s not worth the money. Every person I went with ordered a different dish, and none of us finished them (I went with 7 people). High prices for terrible food!! (Good presentation tho).

We ate here last night; I had steak (fillet) with tarragon sauce and Italian green beans; my husband had lasagna. Standard fare. Vino tinto. All in all, great service, good food. We had an enjoyable meal at an "outdoor" table, after waiting inside until one opened up. Relaxing atmosphere. We enjoyed ourselves.
