A Japanese restaurant that has been around for decades can't be bad, and it isn't. The food fresh and service professional, GOOOOO!!!

The food was not terrible, however the prices are ridiculous for what you get to eat. The service was very cold. No one will ask you if you want another drink, no one will come to refill your glasses of water and we had to ask for our bill twice and wait a long time before someone even acknowledged our... This was my second visit after my first was mainly ok Teppanyaki, however this time I made sure to get a better sampling of the Sushi/Sashimi. I had a Chicken Karage to start and then onto the Sushi Combination which was mainly imported fish. Each piece was fresh and tasty, the rice spot on. A stand out was that they... More

At the end of a two-week vacation in Mexico and wanting some international food. Hard to beat good sushi. And this place really has good sushi. Had an assorted sashimi appetizer with four kinds of fish followed by a spider roll. Everything was the freshest possible. My only complaint is that they mixed sesame seed with their wasabi. I've never... More

Nice place to go to special occasion. Nice Japanese garden and waitress wearing Kimono. That's nice. Food is good. Can not complain but could be better.

Better than most Japanese restaurants in NYC, by a lot. You won't find any rolls with cream cheese here. In fact, this isn't a roll joint. This is where you come for real Japanese food. The nigiri sushi is excellent. You will find hamachi here, uni, saba, toro when available and all the other usual suspects. The agedashi tofu was... More

Suehiro is an institution in guadalajara, it shows its age, but is always in the conversation as one of the top 3 japanese restaurants in GDL. This time our itamae told us, they have a japanese chef, so we tried our luck with items as the chawanmushi, we´re glad we did, everything was authenthic. The sushi bar had its ups... More

A stunningly beautiful restaurant in the heart of Guadalajara. Our dining room overlooked a lovely Japanese garden, complete with a waterfall and koi pound. The menu is extensive and not cheap. Dishes were well executed, and the fish dishes incredibly fresh. Some dishes are hard to figure out from the menu, and some seem overly expensive compared to others. That's... More

This restaurant would rate 5 stars anywhere in the world. But what a pleasant surprise to to find it in Guadalajara. The service was top notch as all the staff worked together to attend your needs during the dinner. We started with tuna sashimi and teka maki sushi. The tuna was fresh and tasty. For the main course we had... More
