We dined here with another couple. The restaurant is on the second floor and overlooks the street. It is beautifully decorated. We had salads to start our meal and they were delicious. A lot better than most other salads in Zihua. We had the Chile rellanos, stuffed shrimp and fish filet. Everything was delicious. For dessert we had a mango... More

Agave took good care of us. Reasonable prices and well made food. It was a nice seafood meal on the upper level. Great lobster. Both my girlfriend and I had a wonderful time.

Always make Agave at least once a trip. The fish is always fresh and well prepared. Service is great. Very comfortable spot.

What a gem of a restaurant in the heart of Centro. We've been vacationing in Zihuatanejo for 16 years and this was the first year that we dined at Agave. Better late than never!! OMG - we are still talking about our meal. The margaritas were top shelf. The food was sublime. Our entrees were the Camarones al Agave and... More

From the warm garlic bread through a flavorful salad & strawberry daiquiri onto the wonderful shrimp. A small restaurant (30 to 35 people) with an owner who treats each diner as a guest and blends flavor, value & service in one sitting.

My wife and I arrived for dinner without a reservation and were fortunate to be seated immediately by the owner. This is a small bistro type second floor restaurant. The beef in all of our dishes was as tender as tenderloin. We enjoyed being able to see the plates being prepared by the chef in the kitchen.. We were especially... More

4 of us ate dinner at this fairly new upstairs restaurant. Loved the artwork and the unique décor. The service was wonderful as well as the food.

Great service but not 'in your face'. Excellent wine (House Merlot). But the food was exceptional for a local bistro such as this. Don't expect massive portions - the name of the game here is quality! From starters, through mains to puddings this food is very very good. Best £30 (with tip) for two people and we had three courses,... More

I liked the décor and the staff were great. The food was very very good. Especially the surf and turf.

We've been coming to this area for years and it is hard to pick a favorite but this is ours. The food and service are consistently excellent. Lionel is a wonderful host and makes sure you are happy. Awesome tenderloin, shrimp dishes, salads and the best chili relleno ever. We notice all the other diners always seem to be smiling... More
