We ate here numerous times liked the food but ended up with diaherra. There is a sports bar atmosphere when games are playing.

We have eaten here twice....first for my husbands Birthday dinner and secondly for their Mothers Day Buffet. Both meals were good and memorable. Great food and service.

We were on our way into town and asked the taxi driver to suggest a good place for mole. He drove us to this resturant. Turned out there was no more mole that day, but there were other interesting items to capture or attention. It was just after a holiday weekend, so we were the only ones in the resturant.... More

So we first discovered this place about 20 years ago and had to go back. I think they were ready to close but welcomed us in. Had the chicken with ham and cream sauce over it, baked potato with a hint of mustard. Very rich and filling and could only eat half but it was excellent. Also had the fish... More

In fact we came twice. We had really cold beer while we were waiting for our hotel owners to return and open their door for us. We had good service so we returned for supper later. Since the slow season was just starting, there weren't a lot of people so we had very good service. All 4 of us ordered... More

We were excited to try Casa Vieja at the recommendation of a friend who has travelled to Zihuatanejo many times. We were very disappointed. We are a family of four who has travelled in Mexico extensively and really appreciates true Mexican food. This restaurant felt like it catered to gringos who don't know any better, as many of them do... More

The food was amazing -- especially the barbequed pork ribs and the chicken pibil. The waiters were very friendly and we had great service.

We ate at La Casa Vieja this morning, and had a wonderful experience. The service was warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious.

We were very disappointed in Casa Vieja. We were there years ago when it first opened and it was excellent. New owners have turned it into a disappointment. The food was over priced and lacking flavor. Way too homogenized for a Mexican restaurant. Like going to a "taco bell" a poor substitute for Mexican flavors. We won't be going back.

Five of us has dinner there. The food was good to very good and the service was very professional. The prices are higher than some of the other restaurants in the area. It is a very pretty little restaurant.
