Many friends like this restaurant because they speak English and the food is consistently good. A lttle overpriced and not quite local but a safe place to eat

We enjoyed the live music here and the food and service was wonderful! It's in the perfect location for a day of shopping in downtown zihua!

Bandido's is a favorite place for us to people watch and grab a cervesa or margarita while wandering around Zihua. This open air restaurant is right across the street from the market and is a great place to people watch on a hot afternoon or as day transitions to evening. Despite other reviewers opinions, we have never had issues here.... More

We had the shrimp molcajete. It is quite good but messy and extremely filling. Salsa is made at your table. A very nice touch. It was a Friday night so it was loud and since the restaurant is right on the sidewalk, the traffic is also loud. All in all, I'm glad we went but would give it a miss... More

We, like other reviewers, were thinking this place was a tourist trap, and walked by many times. But it was fantastic. The quality was impressive.

There are so many good restaurants in Zihuatanejo but this is not one of them. I do not generally write a review but the food was not good. We are marking this one off our list.

They have great service and live music. The food was great too, try the ribs and the salsa. Awesome surroundings.

It's in a good section of the town near all the shops, a hop to the pier or beach, and everything's fine. It's americanized, and I didn't get much out of the flavor, but filling. I tried the Skirt steak Tampico style and I'll give some other stuff a go later. They didn't give you refills on iced tea without... More

This place was recommended for good, authentic Mexican food. It had that and more. Salsa was made at our table and was the freshest and best we've had in the last 10 days here. My wife had the Coconut Shrimp which was very good. But here's the surprise. Rack of Lamb was a special this night and it was as... More

We stopped in for Margaritas and a light snack. Loved the atmosphere and the location, open to the street, right across from the mercado de artesanias, if you sit on an 'outside' table you can shop from your seat! The locals will try to sell to you from the sidewalk. The place was packed as it was almost noon, so... More
