We were a bit disappointed, the service was very good but the menu seemed a bit too Americanized and not enough Mexican. The meal I had was one of the specials chicken and shrimp kabobs while the chicken was tasty there was less than 10% shrimp with just two little ones on the entire stick. Not likely to return.

Very good food and drinks at reasonable prices. Central location downtown and perfect to go shopping after a very good dinner or lunch. The "Grande" Margaritas are excellent.

This is a nice place with good location right down town next to the church. We were sent here because people told us it was a sports bar.... Not really a sports bar although they do have tv's and will put a game on. The music was up, so you could not hear any sports. This is more of a... More

Very good and fresh food. very nice service. Like everything else in Zihuat. the price was great. We we severed in just a few minutes and the amount of food was actually a lot, as we had to take some home with us. Overall, great place just a block or 2 up from the pier.

Really nice staff, good food and they even turn the tv to hockey for us! Only negative was people from streets came into restaurant to sell stuff, annoying, but after saying no they went away.

Just had dinner at Bandido's and I'm pleased to report that it's just as delicious today as it was 7 years ago when I last visited. Very convenient location in the heart of the town of Zihuatanejo and the live entertainer (a woman from Quebec, Canada) was fantastic. A "must have item" that we shared was the Molcajete de Res!

We visit Bandido's on every trip to Ixtapa/Zihua! The fresh tableside salsa is amazing and the food is great.

We've been there several times over our trips to Ixtapa. We always make it a point to take the bus into Zihuat for dinner and shopping. They have wonderful live entertainment and really good prices. The best part is, it's directly across the street from the shopping vendors.

We have been there twice. The first time I had tuna steak cooked Asian style. This turned out to be a disappointment. Tasted like a tv dinner. My husband liked his quail a lot. So we went a second time. This time I was happy with my food and so was my husband. Prices are on the high side for... More
