It seemed everybody we met/ran into raved about Banditos. While it is centrally located across the street from the artisan market, and its a cute open air venue, in our opinion the food and the service were only so-so. Sorry boys and girls its just another Zijuatanejo restaurant and it does not stand out nor have anything special, unique, or... More

Traditionally the service and food has always been superb . But during off season the service was extremely poor, the food was delicious as always. One ? , why does Mexico insist on always over cooking vegetables. It would be lovely if they did not turn them into baby food.

You can't go wrong. The food was great! Service was the best. Try the Molcajette - yum. I had the surf and surf and will be back again before we leave.

Had dinner there - food and service were nice. The home made salsa -tableside is nice. Guac and octopus soft tacos for appetizers and had a pablano chille and my son had ?mochaheta - was pricey but nice. Had a few expensive marg's - think they try to make bill higher w/ the booze. Food was very good and service... More

Great spot right in the center of Zihua. Great service. Good food. I had a great local and traditional mexican dish (can't remember what it's called). Definitely try it!

This place is very good with attentive staff, good food and a vivacious singer named Michelle. The location is great for people watching in el centro. We had fabulous deserts. Michelle is an engaging singer with a wonderful voice and she takes requests. She is there frequently even in the quiet season but check with staff for her schedule to... More

Could be considered a "sports" bar as they have televisions around the entire restaurant! Service good and lots of food choices. Food portions huge, come with an appetite!

We stopped here after returning from Las Gatas beach on the water taxi. We were just going to have a drink and chips. We ended up staying for dinner. They had a special with a kabob which my friends said was awesome. My husband had the pork chop and said it was the best he has ever eaten. He is... More

I love Bandidos. It is a great home base when shopping and Saturday evenings are live band and salsa night. There is even a gentleman who works there who dances with the ladies who don't have a partner. The food is good; maybe a tad overpriced for dinner. Pico de Gallo is made at your table and is excellent with... More

Honestly I wasnt expecting much and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was well prepared. I had fish with lemon and capers. The fish was overcooked as is seemingly standard in Zihuatanejo. It tasted very good and I enjoyed the sauce, and the side veggies were tasty and well prepared. The Avocado starter was good and the tableside preparation of... More
