We planned to have Italian food, but upon finding our Italian restaurant closed in Tuesday's, we made a return trip to Los Braseros. We were the only tourists in this brightly light and bustling restaurant. We found the ceviche (not on the menu) roasted chicken, chicken soup and shrimp quesadilla (also not on the menu) to be tasty, filling, fresh... More

I first stopped at this restaurant because, at the kitchen counter that faces the street, was the owner, Lionel, who was preparing tacos "al pastor". Having just arrived in Zihuatanejo, I had not tried them yet and asked him to explain what they were. Lionel was very accommodating and explained what they were, while he was preparing them, and he... More

Los Braceros has excellent local fare are very reasonable prices. The chicken fajitas were fantastic. Not a fancy restaurant geared towards tourists, but that's what makes this a great place for us. This will be a must stop for us year after year in Zihua!

We went to Las Braseros for dinner last night. The hostesses and waiters were so friendly. One of hostesses came to our table as we were seated with a bottle of hand sanitizer and gave each of us a squirt, that was a new one, but I guess they know you are going to eat with your hands and so... Los Braceros is definitely a favourite go to restaurant for us. It is nothing fancy, or does it have a view, but the food makes up for that. The food is fresh, excellent and great value and the staff are very friendly. Personally, I love their Alambres. This is a must visit for us a few times a year. Highly... More

We discovered this place last year. Very comprehensive menu but if you like shrimp tacos this is the place. The order comes with three fair sized tacos with a nice portion of shrimp. Its topped with a coleslaw and sauce that pair perfectly. If your not too hungry this dish can be shared for two. The shrimp are served in... More

Every trip to Zihua requires a meal at Los Braseros. We've been coming here for years. I love the busy atmosphere and great food. Tacos al pastor, alhambras, etc. are always tasty and easy on the wallet. Never had a bad experience here. And that artwork on the walls - we talk about them every time we go.

On vacation in Zihuatanejo again this year. We had to make sure we visited our favorite authentic Mexican restaurant. We went trice for dinner and loved every bite. Our favorites are still the shrimp tacos and any of the dishes with chorizo. Can't wait to go back next year.

Authentic Mexican food. This is Mexico, after all. Good prices, hard working staff. Clean and, as advertised, over 140 dishes to choose from. Our favorites are the various taco dishes. We usually get the ballena (the whale) plate, but there is a lot to choose from. We have been going to the restaurant since they opened at another location, 25... More

Description
The Restaurant The Braseros has over 25 years of open, began as selling grilled chicken, cheese, charro beans, marinated meat. Back then it was called Chano and Chon, the name of the braziers was given because our first course was to make a barbecue in a small brazier that we put on the table on a partition and then people had just cook their meats were 1 / 4 chicken, a piece of meat for the grill, a sausage and a piece of pork marinated for using those little braziers was to put the name of Restaurant braziers. And eventually it was changing its menu, we were the first restored in Zihuatanejo that sold tacos al pastor Mexico City style, then grilled dishes include, a combination of pure meat with vegetables or grilled meats in these dishes put them funny names, like the whale that was the most sold at the time they request a lot of diners, as is Sarape dishes, which I Vez, a Penguin, the stubborn mule, the Mexican, a Zihuatanejo. We now have 30 different single grill dishes. After Mexican Food believe we now have the largest menu in Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo on our menu since there are more than 140 dishes. We can proudly say that in the braziers of these 140 dishes all we miss are chicken broth, beans and rice all the other dishes we make at the moment, nothing is ready or prepared yesterday morning. In braziers open from 8:00 am until 1:00 am every day of the year except on December 24 and on day 1 "of January.
