First off the location on the trip Advisor is off by a few blocks . I was on foot and thankfully figured out a way to get to the Red Cabbage Cafe and I'm sure glad I did . I knew it was going to be a fun experience as soon as I was greeted by the doorman . It's... More

It is a bit hard to find and not a restaurant on the boardwalk but surely worth the effort. It is on the Rio Cuale in a local neighborhood. The decor is Mexican , funky, Diego Riviera and Frida Kahlo inspired. Colorful, and happy. The ambiance is nice and laid back with something new to see in every spot. The... More

A few people had recommended this place and I went with a large group. Many places say their mole is homemade but in this place it really is. I have been looking for .molrmold for the past two years and finally found it. Everyone loved their meal and we all had something different. Going back next week and will do... More

Looking for a more authentic dinner, try El Repollo Rojo (Red Cabbage). Start with the Tortilla Soup and finish with the chilled Relleno Peppers. Authentic and delicious...Plus you get to see a local neighborhood!

We went here for dinner the first time about 15 years ago and we keep going back year after year. They do a delicious chicken mole, and their chile relleno is to die for. It's a bit out of the way but worth the trip.

Our group of five had dinner on Cinco de Mayo. Food and drinks were wonderful. Red Cabbage is off the beaten path and well worth the taxi ride there.

My wife and I absolutely love this place and look forward to it with each visit to PV. It's not easy to find the first time but it is an enjoyable walk through local neighborhoods and not too terribly far from the Romantic Zone. The food is authentic and delicious (we don't claim to be food snobs or experts in... More

My husband and I live here in Puerto Vallarta and are always on the lookout for different restaurants to try out. We decided to give Red Cabbage a try on the advice of some friends. The restaurant is not on a main road and the outside is kind of deceiving. But once you are inside, it's so colorful! There is... More
