Red Cabbage has been my favorite for 20 years. The food is so special & consistently good. Cuco & staff always make me feel welcome. A must try!

My husband and I live here in Puerto Vallarta and are always on the lookout for different restaurants to try out. We decided to give Red Cabbage a try on the advice of some friends. The restaurant is not on a main road and the outside is kind of deceiving. But once you are inside, it's so colorful! There is... More

More colorful and Frida oriented than the usual fair. A little off the beaten track and its a nice adventure going to the restaurant through a traditional Mexican neighborhood. The menu is clever and focuses heavily on Frida Khalo. I ate the big special meal where I sampled many dishes. A very nice culinary experience. This is a good place... More

The Red Cabbage may be hard to find but it is a small uniquely decorated restaurant offering some the best homemade authentic and different food in Puerto Vallarta. Not only is the food fantastic, the service is superb and the prices are some of the most reasonable in the area. Be aware, they keep their prices low because they do... More

My husband and I loved dinner at this place. It's a bit off the beaten path but totally worth finding. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was simply amazing. I had a pork dish in a light red sauce that was perfect. So much of what you eat in the tourist places is nachos or tacos or other... More

Taxi ride out of town - but well worth it. Small with arty feel. Food is fabulous and traditional. Need reservations especially on weekends. Only take cash.

Highly recommended by friends and right they were ! Warm welcome, good atmosphere, very original accomodation. Best Margarita I ever tasted in a restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, simple and good. I had a tortilla soup for the first time and all I can say it tasted for more, although one serving is more then enough. As a main course I... More

We visited this restaurant with friends who live in PV. They know where to go !! We loved this authentic and delicious food. The margarita was also to our liking. It was our first time here but certainly not our last time!

It's a little hard to find, and quite a walk from the beach and downtown. We went at night, so it was a little sketchy walking, but we were safe. The artwork makes for a nice atmosphere, but the food wasn't very good.
