We had a great meal at El Brujo Vallarta. We all love seafood, and this restaurant didn't disappoint. We ordered the Camarones Dragones to start and were wowed! They are raw (civeche) shrimp served on an oyster shell, with a tangy, spicy herbal vinaigrette and...More
We three British middle aged guys were back in PV for the fourth time before returning back to London.

Great family owned restaurant with tasty entrees. We ate there twice while in PV. We enjoyed quesadillas, bacon-wrapped chicken breasts, grilled fish, and coconut shrimp. All delicious. Service was attentive and quick. Great place to eat locally.
Book a table because it is always full with both locals and tourists. It became our “go to” dinner spot. Good food. Large portions. Good service. Very reasonable prices. The seafood dishes were terrific. The shrimp fajitas were excellent. So were the chicken and beef...More
Waiter suggested a fish dish. It was fish stuffed with mushrooms, covered in Thousand Island dressing and melted cheese. It was all kinds of awful. Needless to say he didn't finish and we got the heck out of there.
This continues to be one of our favourite places to eat in PV.
The 4th of September is sooooo tasty. Fish filet, stuffed with shrimp.
And we tried the stuffed baked potato, loaded with shrimp and covered in cheese. Big enough for a dinner.
A very fine and friendly establishment. The large portion of crab tostada appetizer was seasoned perfectly. My wife enjoyed the mixed seafood fajitas—excellent. My entree
(Recommend by our waiter) stuffed catch of the day.
A wonderful, casual, dining experience.

I'd use caution. Even beans here (in PV) can be made with lard and the employees don't consider that meat. Saying "vegan" to them will probably get you a head nod but they'll still make your food on the same cutting board as... More
I'd use caution. Even beans here (in PV) can be made with lard and the employees don't consider that meat. Saying "vegan" to them will probably get you a head nod but they'll still make your food on the same cutting board as meat. Be aware of this everywhere in PV too not just El Brujo. And like someone above said, they've raised their prices and I've heard from many, they have not improved on their food at all.
