Recommended by our bartender at the Icon Vallarta, this restaurant has great seafood and service. Had the big shrimp and let the waiter pick the flavor choices - garlic butter, coconut and stuffed. Great choice. Wife had the flank steak - tender and tasty. Restaurant is clean and traditional. Prices are very reasonable. Get away from the tourist restaurants and... More

We went for the first time on Mother's Day. The fish dishes were delicious and large. There were a lot of locals and the prices were good for the high quality of food. We went to this restaurant 4 more time is 18 days as it was one of our favorites. As I remember the mother's meal was free this... More

Established but somewhat difficult to find restaurant, El Bruno offers great authentic Mexican seafood and other interesting meals. I've been coming to PV for years and always visit this restaurant at least once during my visits. Definitely worth a try.

We went to El Brujo with a local who told us that this was one of his favorite place in PV. We go to the market right around the corner from here but never spotted El Brujo so we were excited for dinner. First off, the waiters were amazing. Our Spanish is limited so he immediately switched to English and... More

My girlfriend and I had this place recommended to us by a local so we decided to try it. When we arrived, there were only 2 other parties in the restaurant, so we were promptly seated. The waiter was super nice, and even let me practice my spanish while ordering our food. I ended up getting the enchiladas, while my... More

We stopped in because El Brujo was recommended by the owner of the condo we rented. As everyone's reviews say, the place is a little out of the way, but it's cute and quaint. We had a Cadillac margarita which was great and we both had fajitas that were excellent. Our server spoke perfect English which was nice, as we... More

Our divemaster recommended El Brujo and she was right. It is a little out of the way from many of the hotels. It's about 7-8 blocks in from the beach (towards the mountains) but worth the walk. I had the chicken with pineapple which was great. It is a grilled chicken breast with pineapple bits and a teriyaki-like sauce. The... More

This place was recommended to us by our concierge, and we only got to eat here twice. If we found it sooner it most likely would've been our lunch and dinner spot every single day! First day we ate here was for lunch. Its in old town on the corner and not touristy at all. I had fajitas and my... More
