What a lovely spot for authentic and traditional Mexican foods. The new Casa Tradicional just opened near the bullfighting ring in Punta de Mita (look for the flower pots) with the same amazing menu and gracious hospitality. The roasted tomato salsa prepared table side in...More

My family and I were directed to Casa Tradicional by a passionate local who spoke high praises, and we were not disappointed. We were promised an authentic experience with home-made Mexican cuisine but left with more than expected. While the food was certainly nothing to...More

We chose to eat here from another good review and happy we did! Went in on NYE and they were still able to find seating for us. They had a mariachi band playing, made the guacamole at the table, made the margaritas at the table,...More

Great food and fun. Not a good place for a romantic dinner but if you enjoy an entertaining dinner, this is the place for you.

The highlights for me were the homemade salsa prepared at your table with roasted tomatoes and peppers. The other was the fantastic margaritas which are free poured at your table. The service was spot-on and restaurant had a vibrant energy.

This restaurant was recommended by the concierge at the hotel. The service was excellent - friendly and attentive. I love that they added the tequila to the margaritas table side. We did partake in the tableside guacamole and salsa and it was very good. The...More

Very good food and atmosphere. We had guacamole and they made it table side. We ordered flaming rib eye fajitas and a chicken dish they recommended. Good choices.

The food was absolutely amazing!! Be sure to get the salsa & guacamole (both prepared table side), as well as the tortilla soup (REAL tortilla soup, not what’s served in the US), the Vallarta ceviche, the chicken mole & the incredible flan. Did not disappoint!

It might be a good idea to do so, we arrived early evening and were seated straight away but It was nearly full when we left.
