A quaint, little local fish house off the touristy Malicon in Down Town Puerto Vallarta. It was just what we were looking for after a 90 minute couples message. Very fresh seafood and lots of locals coming and going. We had the grilled Mahi Mahi...and a delicious soup with shrimp, octopus, white fish in a light broth with diced cucumber, tomatoes... both perfecto!More

The service is very good. The wait staff is courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. I love the food, especially the shrimp and filet of fish "Al Diablo". There are many more choices prepared in various ways, all delicious. I love the hometown atmosphere where the locals...go. I highly recommend this restaurant if you like well prepared seafood with a Mexican flavor.More

My wife and I went to dinner at the recommendation from a gentleman we met earlier in the day. He absolutely raved about it. We were not disappointed. Outstanding shrimp al ajillo and chilies. Also had the grilled octopus, which was so tender and flavourful....Michelada was delicious and you can’t beat the price. A real, family run gem!More

Food was good and reasonably priced. Staff was not happy. Service was marginal at best Wouldn't go back.

Left the Malecon to try to find a little gem and did we ever. Service was exceptional and the food was fantastic. We each had shrimp dinners, very well prepared and presented. Coming from a landlocked area to the north, where half a dozen shrimp...is the limit we were amazed at the number served here. Also served one of the tastiest coleslaw we have ever had. And the price? Unbelievably low. A must eat place in PV but it’s tiny and fills up fast.More

We ate there last night. It is a small family restaurant on a small street. I had dorado and my husband had shrimp. The servings are generous. Each plate has vegetables, rice, and salad with a basket of garlic bread. Pretty good and tasty.

We were told of this mom and pop restaurant and decided to check out out. We found out that the family catches their own fish and serves it at the restaura to. I had the combination fish filet and shrimp—-the fish was excellent as was...the shrimp. At a very reasonable price.More

I'm a fan after just one visit to this small, family-run seafood place just a few blocks off the Malecon. They have a small menu of mostly shrimp, fish, octopus and langoustine most of which you can get grilled or sautéed with garlic butter or...ajillo style which is garlic and mild guajillo chiles. I chose a combo plate of garlic shrimp and ajillo octopus. Shrimp was good but octopus was incredible especially with a squeeze of lime and a spoonful of hot salsa as the ajillo sauce is mild but richly flavored. Good coleslaw accompanied the seafood, along with sliced tomato and cucumber and disappointingly soft, flabby garlic bread. I wish they’d make it crispy and toasty! Service is casual and fast, but I was the first customer of the day so they were prepared for me. I am so looking forward to going back for langoustine. CASH ONLY and CLOSED SUNDAY.More

If you wanted a cost-friendly, delicious seafood restaurant, this is it. We visited it last night with family who recommended it. Excellent food and generous portions. Shrimp and fish fillets were amazingly cooked. We didn't try the lobster, but I am assuming it would have...been equally well cooked. We will return. Beer, sodas and water bottles are readily available, but no margaritas or wine. Beer was very cold and thirsty quenching. Homemade flan was the best I've tasted ever!More
