Not only is the cuisine superb but the wait staff is courteous and efficient - especially Mel and Saul.

When ever I am in PV, I will go out of my way to make my way down to the Tsunami for their incredible sushi. I am a sushi and sashimi lover and I have never had better at any restaurant ever/. The restaurant space is small but the food and service make up for it. Don't miss out on... More

We had a fabulous meal at Tsunami last Monday night. Our waiter was great and attentive. Maybe THE BEST Miso soup I've ever had, and in a large bowl. Sushi presentation was amazing! And it tasted even better. We took advantage of the 'buy a specialty roll get a regular roll free.' So we had 4 rolls and they we're... More

I have tried sushi in many places and more both in and out of Puerto Vallarta and Tsunami is right on the top regarding quality and flavor. Although not in a fanciful location, which can make it not so easy to spot casually, they more than make up with the quality of the menu and the attentive, not overwhelming service.... More

Very good service. The food was very fresh. The tomato roll and the volcano roll were our favourite choices. Portions were generous as a single order of miso soup is enough for two people.

We are amazed by the positive reviews of Tsunami on this site. The sushi is decent, hardly worth raving about it, you can get the same at virtually any cut rate sushi joint in the US. The restaurant is brightly lit, in a tacky shopping center situated among some really depressing all inclusive hotels. We felt like we were having... More

We have eaten sushi all over the world...London, Paris, Rome, USA, Australia and more...And I can honestly say this is by far the best sushi I have ever tasted. If you visit Vallarta, it is a must. And please try... More

Wow! Another 14 months have gone by for me to have this amazing sush!!!! I am glad they have kept the tomato roll on the menu because I had dreams about it and today was just as fabulous as the last visit!! Hands down the best sushi in PV. Today we had the tuna tostadas, fantasy roll, tomato roll and... More

The Tsunami is just down the street from our time share so we eat there at least once when are on vacation. We are not sushi eaters but love the food. Everyone we have taken there has loved the food. Very quiet place and small. They seem to have a lot of repeat business from the locals. I always look... More

I have never written a review on any of these sites but feel I need to advertise how great this restaurant really is! We ordered the edamane beans, coconut chicken soup (can't remember the name) California and Vocano rolls....Everything was tastefully prepared as well as presented. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who is visiting Puerta Vallarta and... More
