When you come to Puerto Vallarta you must stop at Burro's Bar and have yourself a Coco Loco, these are yummy drinks served in a fresh coconut, sit up front under an umbrella and watch the waves it is such a great way to meet new friends we met a couple from England and enjoyed a afternoon getting to know... I had lunch here one day while strolling along the beach. The views were beautiful, but the service was incredibly slow. Lots of vendors come right up to your table. I ordered the coconut shrimp which was decent, but not worth visiting again for. Restrooms are located across the street in a different building. It was fine for a meal,... More

Very good curb appeal, beautiful setting calls you in. Service was horrible, food was average. Too much solicitation. Good thing I had a pepsi in my bag so I had something to drink when our food came out. The server forgot about our drink orders twice.

Food terrible - Coconut shrimp dry, stale, inedible. Service - non existent. Food was placed on the table and that's the last we ever saw of anyone. Try anywhere else.

As with anyone walking the beat trying to find a stop is like playing the lottery in many regards. Dived in here a little hangry......coconut shrimp....190 pesos......beer 3 for 70 and 2 margaritas 70. Rustic setting......shrimp over delivered and drinks were on par. A little pricey for us who like to find the bargain/value places. Check it out and try... More

We enjoy a hamburger and fries and some cold beers at Burro's Bar when we venture downtown. It has seating in the sand with a nice view of the beach or there are tables under a palapa area as well without being in the sand. Fun to people watch and gaze out on the bay. We've only had the burgers... More

We have been coming to the Burro's bar for years. I haven't been in a few years and I feel like it has really gone down hill. The margaritas used to be some of the best in town and now they are average at best. Ours arrived half melted. The service is also very average. We did watch the sunset... More

I have a love/hate relationship with Burro's Burro's is the best spot on the beach in Old Town. A great place to have morning coffee and to watch the waves break, sitting right there and lifting your feet when water comes over the embankment. It is also a lovely place to sit and watch the sunset or even after, watching... More

This place makes you feel welcome. The Happy hour beer buckets were nice and cold, food was good. Could have sat there all day!

Located near our hotel and directly on the beach, so we decided to stop in for late afternoon/sunset drinks. It was nice to sit on the sand as it was our first day in PV, but the margaritas weren't the best (but they were 2 for 1) and the food was terrible. We ordered the fish ceviche and the guacamole....
