The first night was a Sunday, and there were few people--get there by 8pm and they will feed you. After 8 they close. I was after fresh fish, and the waiter suggested Mahi Mahi with garlic. It was baked to perfection, so when I cut...into it the juices flowed! I hate overcooked fish. The steamed vegetables were just OK; they needed butter. Nevertheless, the food was surprisingly good, so I returned for the other thing on the menu that I like--seafood soup, This was a good as San Francisco. Fresh and loaded with various seafoods, even a crab claw. The broth was delicious. They were very happy for me to return. Being about 6 or 7 blocks inland from the Malecon the prices were reasonable. Fish filet was 200 MP, about $10, and the large bowl of soup was a couple dollars more. Fine food, and I've been to Old Town Puerto Vallarta a dozen times so this was a great find!More

Awesome seafood. If you visit Puerto Vallarta, get off of the Malecon and try one of the small local restaurants like this one. Friendly service and delicious food. Grilled Mahi Mahi for me and Coconut Shrimp for my wife with beers and a Cevichi tostada...appetizer. All for less than $40 highly recommended.More

Great place with amazing food. Very cute little place back from the Malecon. Not as crazy and busy - very nice change. We had the specials- red snapper and Mahi Mahi with seafood and a mushroom sauce. It was the best most authentic home cooking...we have had ! Bonus- after dinner we found the churro guy across the street in front of the church!More

We ate twixe at their taco stand in front of their resto. Seafood was totally fresh. There was a huge freezer in the stand to properly store fish. Ceviche was as delicious as anything I've tasted in Seattle, or even Vegas. Second time, I tried...the muxed seafood coctel (cocktail) and they delivered. Plenty of shrimp, scallops, octopus, even oysters. My favorite place si far in our 3-month stay in PVR.More

Amazing shrimp tacos. We went to the wrong stand earlier today and on our way back found the correct one. I was so trilled as I had raved about the amazing shrimp tacos that Rylana and I had there. It was part of a food...tour we had been on. Ross was impressed. I love great food and when we went to the wrong one I was deflated. However, I was thrilled to find the awesome one.More

My wife and I were off a cruise ship for a day and had read reviews of this place. I ordered the whole red snapper and my wife had a shrimp tostada and crab enchiladas. All were of excellent taste and quality. We are from...Florida so we eat fresh seafood a lot and these were equal to any food items we have had. The snapped was as good or better in flavor than any other I have enjoyed. It was apparent that locals feel this was as well as several were dining when we were and 2 food tours stopped in while we were there. We will go back if and when we ever go back to Puerto Vallarta.More

Small and charming little family owned restaurant that is tucked away from the main dining areas…we were told about this restaurant by friends and then checked our reviews so wanted to try it. We were not disappointed… The coconut shrimp and bacon wrapped shrimp were...fresh and delicious and the price was half of what we would pay closer to old town.. we went around 6:30 and it was already busy . Many people were turned away as it became full. We will gob back💕.More

OMG the red tuna and ceviche is fantastic. We sat at the bar and had the pleasure of watching them prepare our dishes, and others that we will be returning to try. Excellent service and food, skilled friendly staff.

We had a craving for seafood and Mariscos Cisneros more than satisfied it! We had a lovely lunch - coconut shrimp, whole red snapper with garlic, and a shrimp tostada - all fresh and delicious. Our server was friendly and eager to practice his English....We took it as a good sign that one of the food tours made a stop here while we were dining (thankfully after we placed our order, though, as they were a big group!). Hope to make it back here again.More

This is a spectacular family-run spot just off the beaten path but still easily accessible on foot. It’s well worth seeking out the fresh and innovative fare. Sophisticated food in a wonderfully spare setting. Probably my most memorable bites of food on my entire trip...to Vallarta.More
