Coco's has become my go to spot in Vallarta. The food is very reasonably priced and never disappoints, but what I love the most is the laid back, airy atmosphere of the place. It always feels comfortably cool even on the warmest days, even though it's an open air space without AC. It's located at the dead end of calle Pulpito, close to the beach, so there is little noise, traffic and exhaust. There is often a wait to be seated for breakfast during busy season, so I usually go later in the day after it slows down. The food is mostly what I would call "fusion", though many entrees are Mexican in origin. A good choice if you are tired of the more traditional recipes. I especially like the different choices of flavored lemonadas and the appetizers make great meals in themselves. A little bit hip, a little bit funky, but dining among the trees and vines feels like a sweet and tranquil sanctuary.

Since the restaurant opens quite soon around 8.15 in the morning, it is an extremely nice place to enjoy breakfast nestled in natural setting near Los Arcos pier in Romantic Zone. The juice we ordered was freshly squeezed, french toast was very soft and fresh and omelette was cooked well. Surely recommend !

We visited on a Monday morning around 1030am for breakfast. Their are two areas you can sit - indoor Los or in the courtyard. We were offered a table indoors but preferred to sit in the courtyard which presented a 5 mi ute wait to be sat down I had the apple pancakes which tasted delicious and was a very good portion size. My partner had avocado on toast with poached eggs with a side of bacon. The bacon was cooked to perfection and the eggs also just right. The service was good and the food was great definitely worth a visit when in PV

After years of enjoying excellent 5-star breakfasts and lunches at Coco's Kitchen, we recently tried their evening dining option called "The Grill at CK." It's a different menu and completely different staff from the daytime operation. We found the food to be generously portioned, and quite good overall, except for french fries which were hard and cold. The outdoor courtyard was lovely, comfortable and clean. Cocktails were okay, and the wine list was slightly higher in price than many other popular restaurants. The waiter tried to talk us into a more expensive bottle, but we enjoyed the wine we selected. The service was a bit problematic: too many interrupting visits to the table, yet some things fell through the cracks. The wine we ordered didn't come until we asked a second time twenty minutes later, even though we had no other drinks remaining. The most problematic aspect was that, with the exception of one waiter, every server we saw was wearing their facemask improperly below their nose, and at times even with their mouth exposed. This made us feel very uncomfortable, and we put our masks on every time they approached the table with an uncovered nose. Despite good food, I am not comfortable going back to The Grill at CK until they are taking stronger measures to keep everyone safe.

Very popular place, but our experience left us out. We got seated over towards the side where the coffee is made. This table appeared to be no one server’s table. Service was slow coming to us as other tables received prompt service. We had to eace at other wait staff to get refills and to get our bill. The Pecan waffle was dry and flavourless. The Chili Rellanos omelet was boring and flat. However, the almond French Toast was spectacular. Unfortunately, there are other breakfast places that have better overall service and consistent high quality among the entire menu. I am sure that if we have been seated in the regular areas the service would have been better rather than having us be an afterthought.

We tried this restaurant due to its popularity with the locals. They were queuing out the door on Sunday with at least half an hour wait for a table so we went back on a Tuesday when it was much less busy. The service was good but the vegan options were not. We ordered guacamole and it arrived with cheese despite telling them no cheese when we ordered. The hummus was super runny like a soup and was so oily that we couldn’t eat it. The tempura vegetables were soggy and the batter appeared to have egg in it. The dipping sauce tasted like pure soy sauce. A little pricey too. We ordered three bottles of water and four appetizers and it was almost $40USD. Quaint little place with a cool courtyard but we won’t be going back.

We were fortunate enough to discover this place early on during our vacation and it instantly became our go-to for brunch. The menu is varied and delicious and we tried many wonderful dishes like chilaquiles verdes with eggs, salmon benedict, avocado toast with poached eggs and arugula salad, almond crusted french toast, and a variety of fresh fruits and mimosas. Prices are very fair and the option to sit out on the porch, in the open air dining area, or the garden and enjoy the cool morning sea breeze was magnificent. Diego's friendly service was awesome! Highly recommend!

This is my favorite restaurant in Vallarta for breakfast. They offer a nice selection of fresh squeezed juices and a balance of both Mexican and American breakfast choices. My personal favorites are the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and the Vallarta Scramble. The staff is all super friendly and remembers us every time we come in, even though we are only there about 1-2 weeks each year! This place is a "must stop" for at least one breakfast while you're in PV!

Great place for breakfast or brunch, had the avocado toast & poached eggs…good sign when you are asked how you’d like the eggs to be done…and they execute it as requested! Would love to try the omelettes, they looked tempting. Good coffee too (refills included). Staff was attentive and pleasant. If we lived in PV we’d be regulars here…sadly we’re back to the cold and the snow.

I went here because I heard they served gluten free pancakes. When I arrived, the service was good, however after speaking with the server (in both English and Spanish), I found out that the pancakes have oats in them. As a celiac, I cannot have oats. So, I ordered the potato "pancakes" with a side of poached eggs. The plate came out with bread under the eggs. I spoke with the server and again explained that I couldn't eat gluten/ oats. She took the plate, and said she will have them redo it. The plate came back too quickly for anything to have changed. I asked if they just removed the bread, and I spoke about cross contamination. It didn't seem like she understood, so I said no thank you to the plate and only had the juice that I ordered. If you have food allergies, be safe and go somewhere else.

Chilaquiles with chicken. Be careful, lots of bones. Also, caution with food allergies. Asked the first guy if the beans are cooked with pig fat guaranteed me there’s no pork on anything I ordered. Guy that served the food said there was lard in the beans. Wouldn’t go again after being grossed out twice. Nice atmosphere though.

Six of us ate breakfast here on Sunday morning. Popular place and well worth the short wait to get in. Almond French Toast with lemon curd and marscapone whipped cream was delicious. Everybody’s dish was very good. Will definitely be coming back here before we leave PV. Nice atmosphere in restaurant, ate outside.

Three of us enjoyed an excellent breakfast in the open air main room. The thick slices of french toast and the omelettes were well prepared. Sides of fruit were fresh and attractively served. Specialty coffees were a treat. The prices were good and service was friendly and prompt. It is worth a visit. Cash only.

Food presentation was beautiful but the prices seemed a bit high for what you got comparatively around town. Service had an egotistical waiter that decided to shame me for not getting my Spanish quite right when I tried to branch out and order not in English. Rude.
