I stay close to the Swedes and have meant to try it. Glad that last night I finally did! There are items on the menu that have a Swedish flair but it is not a our Scandinavian restaurant. We have the gravlax starter - And then shared the pork tenderloin and chicken entrees. Each dish was super tasty and sauced... More

This was our second dining at the Swedes. Both occasions were perfect. The superb hostess and romantic ambiance set the stage for their menu delights. The appetizers were sampled by our friends and tasted great. Warmly shared into small portions for the couple with us. We chose the salmon and beef filet. Superb....finished as ordered and excellent sauces to add... More

This was my best dining experience two trips in a row. I'm happy to report that in addition to great service and delicious gourmet food, our latest visit marked the debut of their new air conditioning system. With wonderful views, a cozy and elegant ambience, and delicious, creative entrées, Swedes is not to be missed.

Walked up to The Swedes from Old Town and the stroll was really nice. The spot is a fun place and the bar seems really popular and gay-friendly. The Cosmo was good - cold and tasty. Had the Restaurant Week menu and the pork chop was a bit dry but seasoned well. The Swedish meatballs were said to be quite... More

I met Morgan the owner of this amazing restaurant at local bar. He was so friendly and nice. We decided to have dinner at his restaurant Swede. We sat in the upper deck of the restaurant. The view was breathe taking.. We had a view of the malecon and got to watch the sunset. The food was delicious. I had... More

We stopped by here just to try the Swedish Meatballs and they were just like my mom used to make them. Even came with the Lingonberries. My friend tried the swedish fish soup and he said it was very good as well. Small cozy restaurant. right up from beach.

We were in Puerto Vallarta on Easter Sunday, which also happened to by my birthday so we were looking for a special place for dinner. I had read good things about The Swedes and so we decided to try it. I had their Easter special, rack of lamb. The lamb was cooked perfectly and the sides were delicious. The service... More

We've strolled by the Swedes for the last couple of years while in PV and always wanted to try it but didn't until this past February. We now wish that we made the trek up those stairs to try it before this. The meal was one of the best we've had in PV. The filet literally melted in your mouth.... More
