Lovely experience in an usual night with live music, great company, delicious lobster tail and tasty Chili in Nogada, recommended "Beso de Jose" and great Tequilas!, felt like dancing, had a good night. If you visit Puerto Vallarta don´t missed it!
Excellent experience from the time we entered the restaurant until we left. We started with a great glass of Mexican vino. We ordered a Caesar salad which was made at our table. This was truly one of the best Caesars we've had. Our mussels came...at the same time so they took them back to the kitchen to keep warm while we enjoyed our salad. When they brought out the mussels they were delicious and abundant. We finished our dinner with chocolate martinis. The music was perfect for a nice meal, the owner was social and checked to make sure everything was just perfect. I truly recommend this restaurant in Puerto Vallarta, it is not on the main streets but well worth the effort to find it. We'll definitely be back.More
This is a great restaurant but a little hard to find. It's one of the few places in Puerto Vallarta that you can order Chiles en Nogada, which is one of my wife's favorite Mexican dishes. The seafood Vera Cruz style is also delicious. The...only downside we encountered was that they weren't able to take credit at the time of our visit and we didn't find this out until we had already ordered drinks, but we had sufficient cash for the meal. Would recommend this place for nice meal off the Malecon.More
OK Jose has been our favorite local restaurant for years. The food and drinks are always amazing. The atmosphere is always wonderful and entertainment/music provide a perfect blend for a great night out. The star of the show is owner Jose. He has to be...the most caring kind restaurant owner ever! and is always there to help out his team and make sure guests have the best experience. He is also a very talented singer and entertains his guests with his own musical medley most nights. We regularly visit as a couple, Have bought many friends here including a group of 30 one night. Everyone always comments on what an amazing night they had. OK Jose never fails to impress.. Do not think twice. Just book it. Cannot recommend OK Jose more highly.More

Dinner here was one of the best meals I've had in a long time, at home in Canada or while travelling. We started with the specialty cocktail which was a hibiscus margarita -- spectacular! I know everyone raves about the table-side Caesar salad, but I...decided to order Frida's pear salad and it was phenomenal -- so many delicious flavours with fresh ingredients. For the main, I chose the Chiles en Nogada with shrimp -- it was delicious and filling. Their website describes a full sensory experience and they definitely deliver: the decor is lovely with colourful art pieces everywhere (along with the most beautiful restroom I encountered in any restaurant during my whole trip), there is fantastic live music, the dining room opens up to the sky so we could see the stars, and the staff are ALL wonderful -- everyone was friendly and checked in on us throughout the evening. I will definitely return here next time I'm in PV.More

Nothing special. Not bad. Just okay. Had the Caesars Salad followed by the standard seafood/mound of white rice/steamed vegetable presentation. Probably won't return as there are too many exceptional restaurants to explore in Puerto Vallarta.More

Now OK Jose, was No Way Jose. Still has the best Caesar salad in Vallarta. Delicious Chile en Nogado, professional service, great music and host. Ask Jose to sing. Fabulous fun restaurant that you do not want to miss when in Vallarta.

OKJose never disappoints. The best table side Ceasar salad in PV. The Shrimp Santana is a favorite. Small and intimate with an attentive friendly staff, many who have been with Jose for years. Perhaps the best margaritas in PV. We make sure to visit often...during our annual visit. I can't think of a better recommendation for outstanding PV dining.More

We've been coming for years to No Way Jose's and always had a great meal and a great experience. This year was as good or better than usual. We met Jose himself on our most recent visit and asked him about the name change to..."OK Jose". He told us that he had suffered a serious illness and was now "OK". Nice story. We appreciated the excellent martinis and a special passion fruit margarita made with top shelf tequila. We were also served a small amuse bouche ...a tiny glass of soup from the chef right after we ordered and lovely dinner rolls also came with the meals. Our group had three excellent entrees including a flank steak, coconut shrimp, and my favorite house specialty chili en Nogada. The restaurant is on the second floor...a very inviting rooftop patio with live music. You won't be disappointed..More

Has been a "must do" for myself and other family members for many years, however this time, while recommending and attending with friends that have never been was a complete embarrassment for me! The washrooms are so disgusting that having used them once during our...visit said we would leave before using them again. They are filthy! Can barely get the toilet to flush...filthy dirty plywood floors with an old dirty small floor mat that should be in the trash and should not be left in a washroom. The manager as always caters to his very regular customers which is understandable but when you have to put up with a table of 14 and one of which was a drugged out, half dressed disgusting mouthed patron, he and his wait staff should give consideration to others in his establishment! Had to ask constantly for service ie: wine list and then pray someone would come back to take your order for everything! Use to be such fun with light entertainment but could not even have a conversation at the table! Food was decent but the service, and condition of this place has gone down severally, Strictly a who's who place to go now in order to be treated well....won't be back...the rest of my family will be disappointed when they are in PV over the next couple of months as they will not visit!More
