You just think you've tasted mole before! No you haven't. Not unless you've had a meal at El Mole de Jovita! It's a local place that unless someone has told you to go, you'd probably just walk by. The mole is thick and smooth. So nice that you get to sample 3 different kinds with homemade chips as you look... More

I'm a snob & a half when it comes to mole but the stuff here is the real deal. Mole verde, mole with pumpkin seeds & the mouthwatering house mole de jovita poblano are all beyond delicious. The sweetheart staff brings a sample of all three to your table along with incredible thick salty chips. Warm homemade tortillas, punch you... More

This place was recommended by a local and he was right. Good mole tasting, great apps and the main dish was fantastic. Quality of the food was great, the service was super and the drinks were good as well. I would recommend to anyone who wants to try authentic local: Sergio and his team make you feel like family.

At least three different types of moles at any given time! I tried all three and swooned! Mole may be the hidden gem of Mexican food. It is a type of sauce that usually takes days to make (and actually rarely has chocolate). The depth of flavor that mole has comes from many many ingredients ground and cooked together for... More

My spouse and I attended for dinner a few days ago. Others have talked about the 3 kinds of mole. I won't go into this aspect as its been well covered other than to add that these are vastly different that what I as a Canadian have had. There's some very interesting flavours here and it's a great tasting experience.... More

Amazing food! The moles are out of this world. Tip: you can order some entrees with one type of mole on one half, have the other. Great service too! Will definitely come back!

Had the Mole and the Guacamole. Wished we were staying longer so we could have eaten here again. Had live music on one of the nights we walked by.

We love mole de la Jovita and come on every visit to PV. We weren't hungry enough to eat when we walked by so we got it to go to enjoy at the condo watching the sunset. My husband dreams about this mole.

I was recommended to this restaurant and it was spot on. The service is so wonderful and accommodating, they had a live singer serenading me to my dinner :) and the food was just what I wanted, homemade amazing and Mexican through and through.

A mexican restaurant with autentic mexican food, the special is the mole sauce witch is made like in the past, an artesian mole that takes over a week to prepare, unique texture and a chocolate taste at the end. A very house warming atmosphere, and always a good service taken by the owners themself.
