Delicious and Filling Lunch

I stopped by De Cantaro for my final lunch in PV as I had a late flight home and it was a tasty and filling meal. I started with a mango margarita, which was delicious and served with flair. For my lunch, I ordered the...molcajete dish and a side of corn. The molcajete dish was massive - definitely one to share between two people or for a hearty dinner. I did my best to tackle it as it was delicious. The corn was unique - I’m glad I gave it a try but I wouldn’t order it again. I was treated kindly as a solo diner and would happily return.More

AMAZING for every type of dinner. Perfect food, staff, and atmosphere. A MUST GO!

I can’t rave about this place enough. The food was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect. I would rate this dinner a 10 out of 10. My dad had the salmon and I had the steak. BEST squid (calamari) I’ve ever had. There were also numerous...diffeeent types of food for all tastes. All the food in Puerto Vallerta was amazing but I highly recommend this stop. It has a fancy feel and they treat you like a 5 star reataurant, and at the same time you can go as casual as you want. There are big screen tv’s If you would like to watch a game on silent with very relaxing music in the background. My server was Jorge, and he was FANTASTIC. He speaks English as well and has an immense knowledge about food, wine, and drinks. (He has even had his own restaurant so he knows all the ins and outs) Jorge and his team made the experience extremely memorable. The whole staff is great and also cater to food intolerances. The chef even made a sauce special for my dad since he is allergic to onions. The house red was from Chile and was fantastic. The bread was so good and the sauce that it comes with makes it taste delicious. This is the second time I have been here and I will go back every time I visit. It is priced perfectly as it doesn’t break the bank but it is worth every penny. The food, server, staff, conversations, and atmosphere make this place a perfect spot for friends, family, couples, and have something for everyone. This will be on my list of places to go every time I come and I left extremely satisfied. Thank you Jorge and DeCantaro!!! 20/10 stars!!!!More

Great vibes for lunch

Visited with a food tour and loved it so much we went a second time. Juan our waiter was great. Recommended for lunch or a quick bite. Nice chill environment and good food at a reasonable price.

Hidden Gem

Ask for Juan, he is the MAN!!! Passed by this place while looking for a place to watch American football (they have red zone) and have a few apps and we were blown away by the food, drinks and the service. The margaritas were excellently...balanced yet well poured and the chequiles and quesadillas were just as equally delicious. We are absolutely coming back next time visiting VallartaMore

Great food and sercie

The food was great. Great atmosphere. We had 2 great waiters who I want to give a shout out to. Júlio and George made our dinner experience wonderful. Their specialty margaritas are a must to try.

Jorge - what can I say but amazing. Loved the guy. his service was terrific. I can't say enough. only have 120 words

I had eaten here before - last April with friends. Was told that the Ribs were good. Was disappointed back then. I spoke with Jorge about it - and he said that he had a new cook.. and boy was he right... the ribs were...amazing.. and Larry's meal - the chicken with bbq sauce on the side was out of this world. We both enjoyed our time there from being greeted at the front door where they respect animals... to meeting Jorge - the highlight of our meal. Very Nice experience - give him a huge raise.More

So good we visited twice!

We were introduced to De Cantaro during a food tour at the beginning of our trip and we made an additional trip into town to celebrate our anniversary just to come here again! The service is very good. Great atmosphere! Outdoor but covered and lots...of fans to keep cool. DELICIOUS shrimp tacos, carne asada plate, margaritas and the personal favorite, the Marta Riga cocktail. Jennifer provided excellent service and we will definitely return when we make another trip to Vallarta!More

Love this place

Diego is the best! Always a good time here. The drinks are some of the best in the area and the bar is great for solo travelers. Highly recommend if you’re here solo or with friends.

Thank you, Diego!

Food was 10/10!! Drinks 10/10!! We had the salmon tacos with marinated potatoes - chefs kiss!! Customer service was 10/10 - Diego was super attentive, knowledgeable, and lively. They also had a live band. 100% recommend!

Amazing!

Amazing food and exceptional service by Jennifer and her team. We had the 2 for 1 ribs and they were the best I’ve ever had. I cook texas bbq and my friends own bbq restaurants. I say this to say these are some of the...best I have ever had! Mezcal bbq sauce that’s slightly sweet but savory perfectly balanced amazing truffle potato wedges and corn elote to compliment. This place is a must try we frequent it. I’ll be back for more ribs before we leave!More
