Stopped in for happy hour drinks. Villarouse offers an amazing poolside cabana, sauna and hot tub for guests and patrons. Yummy cocktails too.

Had lunch here with a friend, we ate, drank, swam in the pool, used the hot tub, and the cabanas......met lovely people enjoying the day....was there about 7 hours of bliss hightly recommend this amazing palace as a must go when in PV

We had dined here twice before and loved it. Made reservations for 4 people, two of whom had never been before. Arrived at the restaurant and the co-owner didn’t have my reservation and told us they were having an event. Then he said come in...and tried to accommodate us and asked us what we wanted to eat. I said beef filet, he said it’s summer we don’t have everything on the menu, which is very limited anyway. He said you like fish? No.......oh, I have lamb, he said. No........ He was very arrogant, kept saying it’s summertime.....no apology, we left, never to return again.More

Absolutely beautiful. I felt like royalty. Move over Meghan Markle I have arrived! This property has the most comfortable poolside beds in the cabanas. The bar is gorgeous, the rooms are gorgeous, the staff is always around and dressed to the nines. This is a...fantasy life you’d want to live forever. Thank you Villarouse. You make me squeal! Staff was great and very attentive, Food at the restaurant was really great.... Really recommend breakfast... The place IS a must see when visiting Puerto Vallarta ... Amazing beyond words..

This place is beautiful. A great venue for a special occasion or to relax & enjoy. If you have lunch you can stay & enjoy the pool..... We enjoyed Sunday brunch & our waiter was attentive & interesting providing cultural details. The chillequilles were delicious!...The bar tender used a “sabor” to open the champagne which was pretty exciting!More

Unfortunately, this restaurant looks better from the outside than it does on the inside. The most spectacular part is the staircase and doors that lead you inside. Once you're inside, the restaurant is a lot smaller than you had imagined. The pool, as well as...the outside seating area, are quite small, and located right next to a golf course, which could be dangerous. The food was under average. We ordered a cheese plate, which was quite disappointing - nothing special at all. The bread that they served tasted like it was old and the texture felt like it had been microwaved (I've had better bread on planes). For the main dish, we ordered a plate of shrimp, and one of lobster. Both were overcooked and therefore very dry. Lobsters should be sweet and juicy, but this one was tough, dry, and a little fishy. I couldn't finish it, even though I usually love lobsters. The bar doesn't make good cocktails either. They don't seem to know the recipe for cocktails, or perhaps just don't have good quality alcohol. The service was also disappointing. The small talk with the waiters felt forced and their smiles felt fake. Furthermore, when we tried to pay with credit card, their system didn't work and we had to wait for about 45 minutes for them to fix it. Unbelievable. Despite causing us such an inconvenience, the restaurant didn't offer us anything to make this regrettable experience better. This restaurant is definitely terrible value for money. I would rate it: Ambiance: 6/10 Service: 4.5/10 Food: 4/10 Value for money: 3/10 I will never be coming back here and will never recommend this place to anyone.More

Very relaxing! Great staff, food and drinks!! Rooms large, great mattress, etc!!! Best sleep ever! Not to mention the pool fun and exciting, nice music! Can’t wait to go back!!

We were there for the Sunday Brunch...that is not really a brunch but a good breakfast! I have the Eggs Benedict that were very nicely prepared. Service was excellent, we had made reservations and were expected. LOTS of staff. But you go there mostly for...the ambiance; the Hacienda is in a very classy neighbourhood and is beautiful in its genre. The owner was there and we were able to visit some of the rooms. We were invited to stay around the pool. Very special!More

We arrived at this magnificent estate at 9am. We had the best waiter/ tour guide in the world. His name is SIN. This place is hard to put into words. It's a hidden treasure near the marina, Puerto vallarta.we had the best eggs Benedict I...ever had. We also ordered 2 coffees, a side of bacon, 2 green juices ( delicious) and later 2 bloody Marys poolside. Anyone who eats there can use the gorgeous pool, sauna, amenities, free. We toured the downstairs portion of the house. We had no complaints. None. We loved every minute of the 4 hours we spent there. Please go see this amazing mini castle.More

Was there with friends for dinner on a weekend night. We had a salmon entree that knocked our socks off, really! Delicious, moist, orange/mango sauce and a beet couscous that was wonderful. We also had the shrimp special and it was noteworthy. Two appetizers: the...cheese plate mixed well with the caramel apple salad which they split for us. Now lets talk about the ambiance. This place is a villa to top all villas with murals that deserve a gallery. Jonathan, our waiter went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience and the somalier, Ruoal, knew his business and provided charm as well. The owner should have lines out in front because the food is that good! I rarely write reviews but could not help it tonight.More
