Don't order the camarones a la diabla! I was astounded that a place that gets so many reviews for being authentic would serve this dish with spicy ketsup as the sauce. Ketsup! On the positive side the server quickly brought a new dish, my wife liked the fajitas and the tortilla soup was legit.

We have been coming here for years. It is always packed with locals & tourists alike. The best authentic Mexican food, the best prices and always the best service. More than one waiter will always jump to get whatever you want. I had the Mexican plate one night & another night I had enchiladas verde, chillaqueles for breakfast. Outstanding!!

Wento for lunch, salsa was a day older, out of the fridge, no flavor and pale looking. Soups were both cold, it was probably a badly reheated broth from the day before, service is mediocre, ordered a potato and it was cold, sent it back and came, with no flavor. I had diahrrea all night.

We loved this restaurant, especially for its ambiance. It is a casual and quaint (the decor reminded my girls of DIY posts from Pinterest!) restaurant on a great street in Zona Romantica. The food was good and reasonably priced, the service excellent and the ambiance was charming. We went for a late lunch so there was no line (We heard... More

Really tasty food and Great service. We were in a large crowd so it took a few minutes to seat us, but it was worth the wait! Not a lot of room, but they do a great job to accommodate and not bad on the price!!

We dined here our first night in Puerto Vallarta. There was a constant flow of people in and out all evening, and for good reason. The food is excellent, authentic, and very reasonably priced! While we waited to be seated, one of the servers grabbed us some cerveza...a nice touch, and greatly appreciated on a warm evening. We will be... More

Everything we have had there is delicious especially the empanadas. We like the beef picadillo after so much carne asada it was a nice change.

Went earlier this year and no line about 6:15 pm. Wait staff was very attentive and the free chips and salsas for appetizers are great. We ordered Mexican dishes -- the 3 enchiladas and the chili rellenos and all were great. Although, we did not have margaritas, they are well known for having among the best in PV. Service and... The family and I have been coming to Puerto Vallarta for the Christmas holiday for over 20 years. And this is always one place I return to. Service and food is always on the spot! Not sure why there is any complaints by the other reviews but don't listen to them unless you think authentic Mexican food is Tex- Mex.... More

Ok guys for those of you who have never been to PV - then this is a must as it is one of the oldest "restaurants" one has to visit. Its got a grill outside and inside and you can get the scent of the food as it sizzling. The restaurant is large inside, is extremely well located and has... More
