We have been to the sea monkey every year for the case. I hope they can survive. The service is great and the view... Wow.

The Sea Monkey is conveniently located on the Malecon just south of downtown. Palapas right on the beach, feet in the sand and Corona beers for only one USD! Food is decent and service is always excellent. If you want total shade, you can sit...inside.More

My wide and I split a hamburger when we had lunch here recently. The service was very good and the food was good. We were seated along the boardwalk with a good view for people watching. I would vist here again next time I'm in...town.More

Normally a great place for beach food and cheap beer but it is a nightmare now. An awful sax player plays amplified cheesy music directly at the bar. You can beat half an hour but this guy does it for hours on end. Turn it...down please, or just play the sax without the amp.More

We sat on the beach late afternoon and had our fish taco's while we watched the sun set. This is what PV is all about, great food, great drinks, and great sunsets. We had the gaucamole and fish tacos, and both were very good. Plus...the Mexican beers went down very easily on a warm January evening. If you want a casual spot, reasonably priced, while sitting on the beach, this is a great spot.More

Delicious burgers! Servers so friendly and attentive! Great atmosphere inside, wide open with beautiful cross breezes. Margaritas soooo tasty!

Wanted some drinks on the sand at sunset. Ordered the 2 for 1 mojitos, tequila sunrise. The mojitos were so weak and watered down that all we could taste was the mint and ice cubes. Likewise felt like i was being served weak orange juice...on ice. With all the available choices right here, I would say find another place, even though it's impossible to ruin a beautiful sunset on the ocean. Service was also spotty: no one came to take our orders, then suddenly 3 different servers came by asking if we had ordered. I might attribute this to indifferent management?More

Best bar on the Malecon. Great Staff (Rafael my favorite), excellent price, and mostly great view of the beach and ocean.

Try google. We were just in the area and stopped by. Food was good and prices were reasonable.
