Moderate priced and excellent service add to delish Mexican dishes. If Fajitas aren’t your choice, try the Pork Ribs for a sure bet.

We ate at the Fajita Republic during our trip to PV 2/17-2/27/21. As always, the service was top notch and the food is excellent. They are very careful about placement of tables due to COVID as well as cleaning each table after the customer has...left. Despite a 75% reduction in tourists, they are still providing excellent food, drinks and service.More

It's fine - but there is so much better so close by. You'll get what you expect, I suppose - so that might be assuring to some diners.

Fajita Republic used to be one of my favourite restaurants in PVR, where we have been spending winters for 10+ years. They recently underwent a renovation to "make it more trendy" and unfortunately it seems the food has gone downhill since then. The Arrecheras arrived...covered in lukewarm melted cheese, the ribs were boiled and fatty, and the shrimps overcooked. Bring back the old chef, or until they bring the food back to it's previous standards we'll be heading elsewhere on Basilio Badillo!More

We had chicken fajitas and for beginning we had melted cheese and omg it was awsome. When we left, we were stuffed. Very clean and friendly. They checked our temp and table was cleaned just before we sat down.

We went for dinner and sat outside under a fan; very comfortable. We had queso and garlic shrimp. They game chips and salsa. It was enough food for my husband and I to be stuffed and we still had a lot for chips and salsa...left. I ate here about 8 years ago and it still was just as amazing!Highly recommend!More

Our friends insisted we come here as they had such great Queso Fundido here years ago.... and they were almost as disappointed in everything as we were. This is a ‘Safe’ restaurant for visitors afraid of experiencing the wonderful local food and culture and this...place would fit well into any US strip mall. The fajitas were bland and uninspired whether shrimp, beef or chicken.... sides nothing special and the vaunted Queso Fundido and blob of warm tasteless cheese. Service was by committee and included a Food Auction, with the waiter arriving with food and saying, Who had the chicken?, Who had the shrimp?’. Very personalized service....... As we left, they asked how things were - I replied disappointing and thought no more of it..... until my credit card bill arrived and I found we were double charged! Small coincidence? I’ve never had that happen in dozens of visits to Mexico.....More

My go-to when in PV out of 9 days 7 where eaten here. Seriously my ultimate favorite place not just for the delicious food but the staff are amazingly attentive and outgoing and work very hard and they are truly genuine souls. I love the...atmosphere. If you want to stay and relax and chill while sipping a cocktail or chatting with friends it's ok they don't rush or bother you. Also if you are in a hurry and want to eat and dash they will be more rapido. Very warm and inviting atmosphere too. From the owner to the bus boys there all great people I'm happy to patronize this place the food is always fresh hot and delicious ample portions and even better prices I highly recommend this place.More

We go there at least once every year, so probably 8-9 times, and have never had a problem, but also go by mid-November and the Winter rush, so have never had to wait more than 15 minutes for a table...
