Chicos is interesting. I'm not sure about on the weekend but this was a peaceful stop for us while in PV. The rocks and waterfalls were nice, good food and zip lining! We decided to go here because we are geocachers but beware there is no phone service so be sure and know how to get back to your hotel.... More

My husband and I just had margaritas and the black bean and chorizo soup which was delicious. It was served with a basket of tortillas and toasted garlic bread. We were also given fresh salsa and tortilla chips so we actually had quite a lot of food. The restaurant overlooks a dramatic waterfall where people play in the river, slide... More

If you are going south of PV stop here. Turn by the big Parrot Head sign about 1/2 hour from PV. Neat decor. Overlooks the river with huge Elephant rocks. Trails to climb on. Waterfalls nice clear water. Menu has lots of things on it. Staff was friendly I had the Mexican combo was pretty good. The view offsets any... More

This restuarant is about 20km from PV, in alittle village in the mountains. On Highway 20. The offer very fresh seafood as well as other Mexican favorites. Wonderful open air restuarant with great views of the river.

Stopped in at Chicos Paradise on the way to the Botanical Gardens. Just had drinks, chips , guacamole and pico de gallo. Service was good and it was entertaining to watch the people on the Zip lines. Would return.

We went up with a small group of families, kids through grandparents. Despite all the holiday crowds in and around PV, we nearly had the place to ourselves. The friendly staff served us a delicious lunch, then the kids bounced around by the creeks, rocks, and waterfalls. After that, they arranged a zip line tour for just our family. The... More

We always have to visit this spot on top of the mountain. We love to watch the divers and the food is always great.

If you are going to visit PV, this is a MUST on your to-do list. When you drive up, it looks like a dive, but don't let that deter you. This is THE place to eat in PV. When you drive up, there are usually some kids that open the doors for you and greet you warmly. (we gave them... More

We just had appetizers and a drink. The service was good, and the food that we had was good. The zip lining was fun, and fairly priced. The guys that guide you through on the zip lining were extremely friendly, they were humorous and did not try to speed you through. The only downside was that they really overpriced the... More
