About
Archie's Wok is widely recognized as Puerto Vallarta's best Asian fusion restaurant, featuring authentic, freshly prepared cuisine that spans the Pacific Rim from Thailand to the Philippines, to China and Vietnam. The staff offers traditional and contemporary dishes from these distinctive regions. They daily prepare a palette of complex sauces and condiments. Savor the aromas of spicy chili sambals, curry pastes, their famous hoisin sauce for the ribs and chiang mai sauce, too. The menu is truly a cuisine of medleys, which combines Pacific Island foods, Asian cooking techniques, Mexico's fresh ingredients and a host of other cultural and culinary influences. Seafood is caught daily in Banderas

If you want asian inspired dishes then go here but don't think you are getting the actual native flavor. Its like the difference between getting authentic food and Panda Express. The lumpia was soggy, also not sure what they dough they use for wrapping, but...it Lumpia it was not. Same with the Pancit, the noodles were different . Don't get me wrong nothing was terribly bad, but you go there hoping that things are what they supposed to be and not inspired dishes that are close to the real thing.More

All of our guests that visit us in Vallarta are taken here. This place is a gem right off of the Los Muertos Pier. Their food is outstanding and the service is consistently great. Strong drinks too!

A good spot for a change of pace when in PVR. The service and quality of food are very good. We have eaten here more than once when in town.

Archie's Wok is the most popular Asian restaurant -- I think the best non Mexican cuisine in Olde Town = great food Vietnamese , Thai, , Chinese and lovely ambiance == Great staff always ready to answer questions re cuisine = all staff have been...there for many years -- I being lucky enough to meet Archie in person while he was the personal Chef for John Huston == never disappoints -- a true dining experienceMore

We’d heard great things about this Asian fusion restaurant and weren’t disappointed. We got there about 7:30 and there was a 30-minute wait, but no problem. There’s seating street side out front and they’ll bring you drinks while you wait. Service was excellent, and we...loved the food. Shared the calamari (fabulous), and cashew chicken. Loved it.More

Archie’s Wok has been on our list of restaurants that we wanted to go to for several years. We were finally able to make it tonight. The restaurant was full when we arrived at 6:45 but we were seated right away. The service was excellent....Prices were moderate and reasonable. Dinner for 2 with an appetizer, 3 drinks and 2 entrees was about 1000 pesos which included the gratuity. Our appetizer was the Spicy Shrimp and Coconut Soup. It was a little spicy, as advertised, just right for me, a little too spicy for my wife. She had the Gingery Stir-Fried Vegetables entree. I had the Barbecue Pork Riblets Hot-Sin Style. Both were good although lacking a bit on presentation. Botton line, it was good but there are better choices in PV that offer better presentation and tastier alternatives for similarly prices. Although we enjoyed our experience tonight, we don’t plan to return. Too many other good choices.More

This is one of PV's finest restaurants. Atmosphere, ambience, services, drinks and food are excellent with great choices. It pains us to advise how great this place is for fear of not getting future reservations.

First visit this year. Always worth the wait. They always tell you it will be x minutes, but you will usually be seated earlier. The selection of appetizers is great, having tried many of them. This time we had that Asian confetti salad, which was...excellent. Shared mains included Singapore Shrimp and cashew chicken. Both were outstanding and worth ordering again. Service was great as usual.More

We were out for a walk, & discussing various places we'd like to go for dinner. A complete stranger excused himself for interrupting us but he said he heard our conversation & pointed out Archie's Wok provided good service & delicious food. He wasn't kidding....The next night we had dinner at Archie's & we weren't disappointed at all. We are returning to PV in Dec/2020 &most definitely have plans to eat at Archie's again.More
