We travel quite a bit and we have wonderful Asian Fusion restaurants in Chicago - but none compare to Archie's Wok in Puerto Vallarta. Don't hesitate to try this restaurant time and again to taste all they have to offer. Don't miss the passion fruit mojitos, Asian slaw and lime cheese pie for dessert. Every entree we've tried has been... More

I had a wonderful dinner last night dining solo, very enjoyable , wasn't rushed, good service. I loved the Asian slaw salad, chicken satay and mahi mahi cooked in a leaf and the chocolate brownie with gelato. The fried calamari had too much batter for my taste.

We are here as a couple and wanted to try again. Definitely not disappointed. It was a 20 or so min wait, chairs out front offered us a drink. Our food was amazing. Hot tasty, love the atmosphere. Service is great checking on us cleaning our plates away and making sure we had a great meal. We will definitely make... More

What an incredible meal . From cocktails, appetizers, soup to entree each corse was better than the last. I have had Asian food coast to coast and in Europe this place blows them all out of the water. The Serrano infused Margarita that started it off. Had just the kick to get my dining experience going then the three corse meal... More

We returned here after our great experience last year. We tried several varieties of chicken. The cashew chicken was definitely my favourite. My girlfriend prefers the Singapore chicken. They're both delicious. Is very hard to go wrong with the menu here, though I'm not sure I have the stomach for tongue.

Nice restaurant to sit in. Efficient professional service. They accommodate vegans easily. Their broccoli and tofu stir-fry with mushrooms and roasted cashews was really yummy. Not too salty, not oily, just warm comforting food. We also had the thai green curry stir-fry and it was good as well. We're not big tofu eaters so we asked if we could skip... More

Archie's Wok is widely recognized as Puerto Vallarta's best Asian fusion restaurant, featuring authentic, freshly prepared cuisine that spans the Pacific Rim from Thailand to the Philippines, to China and Vietnam. The staff offers traditional and contemporary dishes from these distinctive regions. They daily prepare a palette of complex sauces and condiments. Savor the aromas of spicy chili sambals, curry pastes, their famous hoisin sauce for the ribs and chiang mai sauce, too. The menu is truly a cuisine of medleys, which combines Pacific Island foods, Asian cooking techniques, Mexico's fresh ingredients and a host of other cultural and culinary influences. Seafood is caught daily in Banderas Bay and delivered fresh to the restaurant. Locally grown ingredients include an array of vegetables, herbs and spices, including kaffir lime, galangal, lemon grass, ginger, chilies, tamarind, and coconut milk. These are native to both Asia and the Mexican Coast. Archie's Wok has been family owned and operated since 1986. The history starts in 1977 when Archie Alpenia began working as the famous Hollywood Director John Huston's private chef at his personal retreat in Banderas Bay. From then on the restaurant continues to be run by his wife Cindy, daughter Kyoki and son Sergio. His legacy continues in this comfortable restaurant. Archie's Wok is just steps away from the Los Muertos Beach Pier and is a great location to meet friends and family. The restaurant is casually elegant and their team is committed to great service, excellent food and a comfortable setting. You can enjoy lunch and dinner in this sublime atmosphere with dining room and Asian style garden.
