This place is absolutely amazing and can’t be missed! They have very reasonable prices and an incredible menu, with traditional mexican offerings but also smoothies, and American options such as waffles. Our server, Jesus, was great and very attentive! The food was very good and the smoothies were massive. There is usually a 20 min wait but come early at 9 to miss it!

Fredy’s was one of the places that kept coming up as a must vist while in PVR, and if you’re looking for a breakfast/brunh spot you’re in good hands here.
I ordered the ‘Desayuno Campesino’ (steak, chilaquiles, egss, and refried beans), ‘Crepas Manzana Nuez’ (Apple Cinnamon & Pecan Crepes), and a couple of mimosas. The Campesino was on point, everyhting came out as expected (delecious and flavorful). The Crepes were solid, not knock your socks off good, but will satify a need if you have a craving. And the mimosas were poured with a good ratio.
For all the food ordered (3 enterees and 4 mimosas), I was delighted that the bill worked out to be less than $35 USD, thank you Fredy for not only serving up good food, but doing it at a great price!

There's lots of options for breakfast in PV but my absolute favorite is hands down fredys tucan been eating here for the better part of 10 yrs. The portions are huge and the prices are extremely reasonable for all you get the fresh backed goods in the basket brought to the table is a great extra perk as us the homade marmalade and jam mmmm the service is very professional and personal and on point. I always leave here satisfied and the servers don't bother or hound you every 5 minutes like alot of other places.

I need to get a fresh squeezed orange juice for breakfast and they have it everyday delicious and of course very fresh, small or large, small is more than enough because they are very generous in general.
I also like they have a basket of baked good, eggs dishes and fruit salad as well.
Sometimes you have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for a table but it is worth it.

While walking down Calle Basilio Badillo in Puerto Vallarta, saw line ups to get into this place, so figured it had to be good, and it was. People were lined up, but because it was just my wife and I we were seated right away. We both had the eggs benedict, and it was great. Your meal comes with hot sauce, a bowl of pico de gallo, a basket of toast, and a dish of strawberry and apricot jam. Plus the coffee was excellent as well. This place is open for breakfast and lunch only. Never tried the lunch, but highly recommend it for anybody looking for a good and reasonable place to eat breakfast

One of the most popular breakfast places in town so be prepared to wait if you come around noontime. Excellent prices for anything from “American style” bacon n eggs to grilled chicken baguettes and local dishes. There’s a pretty terrace in back in addition to indoor tables. Service is good, all servers speak English. Cash only!

We went recently here for breakfast and their service is outstanding.
I had the regular Benedict’s and they were superb, in fact, it was the first time I was asked how I wanted my eggs; which was awesome, since I like them soft poached I always have to request them soft poached; otherwise I get them hard poached.
Everyone enjoyed their choice of food and had a great time with all the attentive service we enjoyed

its been 5 years since we were at fredy's. the wait grew from 15 mins to 25 mins. the experience was just as awesome as last time. wife had strawberries & waffles, and i had eggs san sebas this time. it had a serving of guacamole,refried beans, panela cheese on 2 eggs with a side of pico de gallo. we split a smoothie as it was huge. we remembered not to fall for the server coming around with muffins as there is an extra charge for these pastries and with such enormous servings we didnt need extra. almost classifies as cheap eats$ given the portions. our total was $260 pesos. very loud atmosphere but you get used to it and its all great energy- 2 birthdays were celebrated with the waiters singing. we will return again, even if the wait time increases.

We went there for breakfast seven days in a row, we were so impressed by the food, service, surroundings and prices. We ordered the American Breakfast, which really suited us and we would be done about 30-45 minutes after being seated. This is a great place. Our first day, the waiters David and Humberto were so helpful and made us feel comfortable there.

6 of us ate at Freddy Tuscan on a Friday morning, seated quickly, quick service provided by Geronimo and Miguel. Serving classic American diner food with a Mexican twist. Would recommend!

Good breakfast. I like the american breakfast, comes with coffee, toast, hash browns or beans, bacon, ham or pork chop. I get pork chop since its huge and scrambled eggs and put pico de gallo its makes it super fresh oh and a small fruit plate for 105 pecos.

Fredy's Tucan is has always delivered a quality breakfast (and lunch). The service is outstanding, the food quality top notch, and the prices are very reasonable for this level of quality and service. I've had both the crepes and the french toast and enjoyed them very much. The quality was great and the quantity was perfect. My wife had the shrimp omelette (I ican't recall the name on the menu) and she really enjoys it. Social distancing, temperature before entering, hand sanitation, wait staff wearing masks/face guards are all used. I would recommend Fredy's for breakfast for a more upscale breakfast in the PV area.

Visited three times this visit, always for breakfast. I have never seen a staff work so hard or so choreographed. American and Mexican favorites including eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, etc. They always supply the table with extra hot sauce and pick de gallo for seasoning. Great value.

We stayed in PV for a week and probably ate breakfast at Fredys at least four or five of those mornings. They have a diverse menu, great food, very fast preparation, and the service is outstanding and consistent. Special shout outs to David, Aranza, Geronimo, and Diego. They were constantly checking in with us to make sure everything was ok. Prices are also very reasonable. If you order cocktails, I would recommend making it a double.
They also have a portion of the restaurant that is open air and kind of patio-ish, which was more comfortable seating for me for coronavirus safety. All of the staff wore masks. Most of the tourist customers did, but not all of the locals. However, the staff was happy to sit us at a table that wasn't too close to others.

Even during Covid everything is clean and sanitized. Geronimo and Benito were super friendly and very accommodating even though my group didn’t speak Spanish. They were quick taking orders and getting drinks. The food was outstanding.
My group had 3 different dishes that we split amongst each other. We ordered pancakes Vallarta (super fresh fruit with great taste), chilaquiles, and the desayuno campesino.
Pancakes are the best I’ve ever had. They don’t even need syrup. The cakes themselves have a sweetness and pair great with the fruit and crema.
Chilaquiles were out of this world.
The desayuno campesino comes with a portion fo steak, chilaquiles, refried beans, and an egg your way. Everything on this plate is delicious. If you want to spice it up add the salsa verde or the salsa rojo.
