A must try in Puerto Vallarta!

Great view and delicious food! I tried fajitas here and they were amazing! Our server Polo was very attentive and polite. Recommend!

Blue Shrimp a 5***** dinner

My friend and I were looking for a place for a nice dinner tonight. Puerto Vallarta has so many options but Phil suggested seafood. That narrowed the decision a bit, but not much. We discussed a couple of restaurants by the beach and landed on...Blue Shrimp. We were not disappointed. From the warm greeting from the hostess to our wonderful server, Valentina, and even the bus boys, we were made to feel very welcome. Walking to our table, I noticed a cigar humidor. While I gave up smoking a few years ago, the cigars looked good and were a classy touch; although I'm not sure where you could smoke them. The staff were extremely attentive and we were not rushed nor were we left waiting for anything. Valentina seemed to time everything just perfectly. We started with a shared order of garlic bread and a shared Caesar salad. The salad was prepared table-side and the dressing expertly made from scratch in a traditional wooden bowl. It has been years since I have enjoyed a table-side Caesar and it brought back fond memories of great restaurants from the past. I had the seafood linguini in a cream sauce. It was incredible and a good size portion including octopus, shrimp, scallops and mussels. Phil had the coquille st jacques and it looked really good. Valentina graciously offered us a kahlua and cream cocktail followed by coffee. While I didn't see the bill, I was told it was reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and the excellent service provided. I definitely recommend the Blue Shrimp for a wonderful dining experience. Bon apetit! Buen provecho! Happy dining!More

Great spot to stop for lunch!

Had a great lunch with amazing service from Carlos and Fernand! I sat on the beach and if you don’t mind being asked several times to buy things then it’s allll gooood!

This place should definitely be on your to do list!

The food was absolutely delicious the atmosphere was relaxed but what Made our evening so much fun, was the brilliant staff team who served us fabulous cocktails and made us laugh throughout. What a superb evening!

Rib eye tacos!

Been here twice now and the food has been delicious both times..including the drinks. The rib-eye tacos keeps bringing us back - go see for yourself! It's a little pricey as it's right on the beach but the quality and quantity you get reflects it....You won't leave hungry!More

Excellent Shrimp on the Beach!

Excelente servicio!

We had a lovely time for lunch today! Good food and great service from our waiter Polo who recommended the Maravilla margaritas. He also gave us excellent advise for portions - only 2 of us and we would likely need to take food to go...if we ordered the Shrimp Bowl so we ordered the delicious Crab tacos and Surf & Turf tacos from the starter menu which was plenty! Large portions, great service and food! Highly recommend!More

Highly recommend The Blue Shrimp PV

Choco and the staff were super attentive. Each of us loved our meal and would recommend this restaurant highly. My Spanish sucks so it helped that their menus were in English and they were fluent also.

Shrimp By The Sea

Service was Excellent, Margaritas were tasty, Table-side Guacamole was awesome and the shrimp was unbeatable. Staff worked together and Miguel ensured our needs were met. Will definitely return.
