we come here every time we visit Mazatlan, and always enjoy every bite! ALL appetizers are amazing ( I think we tried almost all....) and of course main dishes as well. Just great stuff!

Our meal last night was just as we expected....fantastic. Meals were well prepared and presented. Service was attentive and the wine list offered excellent choices. We can recommend the dumpling appetizers, the poblano chicken ad the seated tuna. A great choice for dining in Mazatlan.

Chef Alister has a very nice menu. I ordered a Capresse salad which was made with organic heirloom tomatoes! My Ramen meal was huge! I took half home. Nice ambiance, live music.

Worst service, waited forever, server was rude and the food passé'. It was a problem from the start, seating was difficult, patio non-existent. Prices are crazy. Should've gone to Puerto Viejo.

We are huge fans of this restaurant for several reasons. Our stay in Mazatlan usually lasts several months, so needless to say, we are sometimes frustrated with the usual standards. Water's Edge has all the elements of the better restaurants back home (Toronto, Canada). Outstanding service, amazing cuisine (Canadian chef), all packed into a beautiful, well appointed setting make for... More

We took the taco tour which goes on Thursdays. Stopped at 3 taco stands and a brewery. Was worth every penny. Did this for moms birthday then had cake at Waters Edge to end the evening. Learned a lot while on the tour ate a lot and had drinks. Great fun great people. This tour is a must!!!!

We've eater in several of the restaurants in the Centro, and this is one of the best. The chef / owner produces a menu at once authentic but w/ touches of the artisan. The other owner, the chef's wife and hostess, is generous and friendly. You could tell it was popular from the number of return visitors who were there... More

It was pretty much a perfect meal. Local crab cake as well as pork dumplings for appetizer. The (excellent) waitress recommended 3 top entrees. We had each of them - Filet steak, Thai Curry shrimp and portobello chicken. All 3 were heavenly. Then for dessert an apple/berry cheesecake - they called it apple yogurt cake, but it's more like an... More

YUM YUM YUM more please ... Run, don't walk to Water's Edge. I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Water's Edge AND enjoying w|e Chef Alastair Porteous' incredible fare at a Farm-to-Table event during a recent trip to Mazatlan. EVERYTHING that matters about a restaurant is top-notch. The food was single-handedly the BEST (fresh/flavorful/no crumb left behind) I had... More
