Fun place, owner is Mexican and wife is cuban. Good place for lunch and watch Carlos make the best mojito you will ever drink. Pretty authenic cuban cuisine.

My wife and I went to Carlos and Lucia's for dinner while staying across the street at The Palms Resort. We were served by the owner, Carlos, who made out mojitos table side. He was very welcoming and the food was excellent. We will be back any time we are in Mazatlan!

We stayed at the Palms Resort. This restaurant is located right across the street. We were referred to the big steak house a couple buildings down by the door man, but as we walked by the smell hit us. We made it to the steak house but decided not to go in. The food was definitely designed for gringos. We... More

Across from the El Cid, sort of. Friendly hosts and a very inviting atmosphere. Very good reasonably priced menu, fish, chicken and steak made to your liking! Lots of food for a good price.

Our visit to Mazatlan always includes at least 2 or 3 trips for garlic soup at Carlos and Lucias. The Mojitos are the best! Plan to spend some time here as the food is fresh and takes time to prepare, but well worth the wait! The French fries are like home made chips! Yum! Very relaxed atmosphere and gives us... More

We had a mixed experience here. The famous mojitos were disappointing, tasted watered down. The food, when it finally came, was good. i ordered the garlic soup, and it was fantastic, but apparently made to order, as I waited about 15 minutes for it. Then another wait for the rest of the food, which was quite good. They were out... More

The food was very good and the service was excellent. The restaurant decor was Mexican with a Cuban flare. Food was very reasonably priced.

Perfect portion. My first experience of Cuban food...really delicious and good value for money. I am really happy with this restaurant.

This restaurant surely does not deserve its Trip Advisor standing among Mazatlan restaurants. My wife and I were there a few nights ago along with another couple. The service was OK, no wait staff other than the owner, Carlos. We all ordered tacos and they were good. We lingered there for a couple hours, finishing our drinks and yakking. All... More

We had the fresh fish and the shrimp, Cuban style. Both were excellent. Been in Mazatlan almost four weeks, and is in the top three restaurants we were to on this visit..
